It's official; he'll practice today.

 

Chick was a full participant yesterday, so.....

 

Yeah, I don't think they'll be able to move him to the practice squad this late in the year and not have him poached.

I don't think they want to practice squad him at all. Next up will be, do they activate Ola and release someone else on the chance that they may need another edge rusher or do they slide him back to IR?

 

poached for what? my gawd you have some high expectations for our scrubs. I really like ola but to think the other 31 teams are looking at our guys for the second coming is ridick. does he have potential...yes, is he worth scrambling the active/inactive roster so he isn't secreted away by the parallel universe Steelers....damn.... hes a dude from the MAC who was given jersey #92. the similarities end there....

I just said they'll probably not move him to the PS. He'll get activated or they'll slide him back to IR. Otherwise you'd see them move one of the guys already on the PS. They obviously like him or they wouldn't have put the designated to return label on him.

It's not rocket science. If they think some other team "might" try to get him off their PS...they won't put him there. If you think they aren't thinking that way, then I don't know what to tell you. I mean, someone took Mauro like you said and he was also an undrafted free agent. it does happen, not often, but it happens enough to make them be strategic with who they move around. There's a reason Rudolph won't be moved there.
