Well, the answer to the first part is that he is a major drama queen.

I can’t help on the second part.

That label doesn't feel quite appropriate to me.
Ben will play through big injuries (like getting smashed in the face without a flag) and not make a big deal about it.
And the league requires him to talk about his minor injuries.

Heck, Belichick did it too. He used to have Brady listed on the injury report every week, so that no one would know when Brady actually had a meaningful injury.

“Big Ben and the Damaged Digit”

A sports drama in four acts.

Ben Rothlesb—, Rothlisb—, Roethelsb—, um, an aging quarterback suffers a broken finger before one of the most important games of the season. Tensions rise as, after two decades, he suddenly finds it difficult to put his damaged hand in another man’s crotch. As coaches work incompetently to bring the team together around him, the veteran slinger battles a hostile environment and his own personal demons to demonstrate to teammates and audience alike that everyone can find the greatness that lies within.

A feel-good story that will have you wincing along as you too point heavenward following Steelers touchdown after touchdown.

Opening this Sunday in select Baltimore venues. Live-streaming where available.

I have a broken index finger right now on my throwing hands. I play softball doubleheaders on Friday nights with no problems. I throw darts Tuesday night on dart league. I’m currently in first place. I’m sure a broken finger on his non-throwing hand it’s gonna be pretty much a non-issue.

Oh yeah I took care of my wife last night and that finger wasn’t a problem at all if you know what I mean. LOL

This is good news. Ben is motivated by playing through injuries and this is an injury that should easily allow that. I expect a good game from Ben.

Anyone whacking you hand while you throw your softball (girls' game) and darts?

Well I have to throw a ball with that finger and swing a bat. It’s a little painful, but I want to play more than I’m worried about the pain. Only a couple weeks left then it’ll heal up. Plus only person who would say it’s a girls game it’s probably some big sissy Who is not good enough to play any kind of sports.

So no, no one is whacking you on you finger. They will be chopping at Ben's hands. You play slo-pitch right? :roflmao:

    Like I said it'll be a non-issue. Won't affect anything at all.

Man that Landry cut runs deep still....I may be in the minority but I'm kinda glad he hasn't started a NFL game over Ben.

    Plenty.

Refer to the posts in the beginning of the season for many examples.

Good thing Ben’s injury doesn’t require a back up.

Ben doesn't like to practice. The more he practice ... the better we start off games. It normally takes about a quarter for him to figure out wh as t the defense is doing ... when he doesnt practice

So he will be playing with one numb finger on his non throwing hand. That leaves three fingers and his thumb. He should play normal. If it was his thumb, then that would be a big issue.

I don't see an issue as he played last week ok with it also.

    Not losing sleep over it.
