    Demaryius Thomas to the Texans.
    Golden Tate to the Eagles.

    More to come...

Will the Steelers stand around twiddling their proverbial thumbs? I say yes. We desperately need a 2nd competent CB since Artie Burnt is D-O-N-E. We also need a WR3. Justin Hunter sucks and 2nd rounder James Washington is a healthy scratch. We have no deep receiving threat.

Meanwhile we have diva Bell rotting away on a jetski somewhere. If this team has Super Bowl aspirations this year we HAVE to make a move.

But I know we won't because Steelers way blah blah blah

Golden Tate to the Eagles just flat out pains me. Cost them a 3rd round pick but it was the right move if they want to stay in the mix. Now I got to hear this ****:(

Tate would have made our WR truly unstoppable. 3rd round is nothing for a player of his caliber.

Ravens get Ty Montgomery from the Packers for a 7th rounder in 2020

Montgomery's playing time was dwindling drastically despite the Packers' injuries on offense. He also screwed his team over by ignoring the coaches' instructions and taking the kickoff out of the end zone late in Sunday's game against the Rams. He fumbled, so Rodgers never got a shot at a game-winning drive with nearly two minutes left and a two-point deficit.

Fowler leaving Jacksonville helps us... at least we won't have to face him..

Those "thud" noises will eventually break the various bandwagons should people continue to hop on them. :lolol:

Great move for them, good for me too, I have Wentz as my FF QB :clapping:

Didn't need a WR or safety but we'll hear how dumb the Steelers are for not sacrificing draft picks for position that aren't needed.

Pittsburgh has not traded a First Round pick in over half a century; 51 years at that.

Nevermind the fact that Patrick Peterson was not going to get traded any way, he would have likely been too expensive anyways. It is likely the team elected to go for both Conley and Jenkins but those players also might have been too high.

As much as I personally do not like it, who did we have as a bargaining chip? No one. The Steelers will have to just roll with what they have. This also means that Tomlin and Colbert still see something in Burns that many of us do not.

Sunk cost fallacy or not, it is time to roll with the players and run the table.

We are not in the market for a 3rd wr. Eli Rogers is now off the PUP. Switzer has shown some slot ability. I doubt very highly the Steelers have given up on Washington. Lots of football left to play. I will be shocked if Washington isnt a contributor by the end of the season.

I really wish the Steelers would have moved Bell. Im sure they wish they would have too. Bell was holding all the cards. Not much the Steelers could do.

I was really hoping for a corner. But who knows what the asking price for Jenkins was. We all know the Steelers are craigslist shoppers. They are looking to get quality at a bargain basement price.

Because of the B. Layne trade?

I never knew this but heard that the Steelers cut both HOF QB's Len Dawson & Johnny Unitas when they aquired Bobby Layne.

I feel like most of the complaints I’ve read are not about acquiring talent, but more about getting rid of it (Burns, Bell). Exactly what would that do for us this year?

Burns will get his mojo back. Bell and Conner will keep each other healthy as well as Ben and the Defense as we go on a long run.

They couldn't trade Bell. He's not under contract. I don't know whats so hard to understand about that.

Yeah I think everybody’s aware that is not under contract. But that doesn’t mean a trade could not have happened with his consent.

Exactly. The hope was he would sign his tag before the deadline.

    Pretty easy concept.
