It's simply amazing how a man of his age can resurrect his career as a Safety no less....maybe PWP is right if Marcus Allen can do it....why not DHB

The post game shows at home here in Pittsburgh are real entertaining. You invariably get some Yinzer who calls in with a comment like; "By game four Rosenberg will be on the bench and Rudolph Mason will be starting". Usually spoken with a drunken slur.

Brian Allen struggled again. Behre continues to suck. I hope we see more of Marcus Allen next week. He doesn't seem to be getting much of a chance.

You have to be kidding. Red at the very least is worth his spot on ST.

Thomas and Fort both made more plays at linebacker and on special teams. Both are at least athletic enough to play inside linebacker in the NFL. Matakevich is not. He's too slow. He showed it again today a couple of times, including on the Titans' touchdown.

Some details are better left to the imagination.

    Or not.

Fitch knows he can heave it, probably wanted to see how he manages ball control sustaining drives which is about all he was doing after he came in.

    So I missed the game.....

what coach needs to be fired and what player is going into the HOF?

    serious note though, any injuries?

The most significant one seems to be James Washington, who has an abdominal injury.

    Hopefully it’s not too bad.
He has two weeks to be ready.

Aside from special teams what can red offer that fort and Thomas can’t?

He knows the defense better. He also has 2 blocked kicks on his ST resume and was the leading ST tackler last year even while hurt.
I think we all know what happens when you short change the ST for other guys.

Fort couldn't even get on the field as when dressed and healthy last year over Spence. He does well when asked to do limited things. He looked decent against the backups though.

Thomas I'd like to see on the squad though.

Pretty funny, and a bit true; BUT they did tackle well tonight and play a hell of a lot better as a whole.

One thing that's nice is the Steelers appear very deep at wide receiver.

Thomas was the one making an impact on special teams today, not Matakevich. Look at when he played. He sure seems to be ahead of Matakevich on the depth chart right now. Maybe Fort is the one to lose out, but only if you are right about Matakevich having that much better of a grasp of the scheme. Knowing where to be doesn't mean much if he doesn't have the athletic ability to get there.
