Cool interview with Brandon Boykin on NFL.com. I would have thought there might have been some bad blood between he and the Steelers, but the guy had nothing but good things to say. Seems like a class act.

It's high-intensity every single day (playing on Pittsburgh's defense).
You're playing against the best of the best at wide receiver, the best quarterback, the best running back -- and you're going against that every single day, so you have no choice but to elevate your game and make yourself more confident. That year in Pittsburgh allowed me to see where I was as a player, going against Antonio (Brown) every single day.

There's nobody better than [Brown] in the league, and I got to go against [him] every single day. Everybody else was a step down, really, in my opinion.

Can't recall this player. Cool story. Agreed who you practice against can only elevate your game if you have the skills to back it up.

Boykin was a CB that they traded for from the Eagles on the final days of the preseason, he then rode the bench almost the entire season and no one knew exactly why. He was a higher rated player than the guys they actually were having on the field and yet he couldn't get on the field and finally during the off season he went else where and it was revealed he had a degenerative condition in his hip. It was one of those strange things that Tomlin does that we had zero idea why.

Guarding AB would give me a degenerative hip condition too! Honestly, after the play was over, my legs would probably be tied in a pretzel, and I'm at the top of my game athletically right now.

Yep... Boykin was a better CB than Cockrell and Gay when he was here. Gay was past his prime and Cockrell was pretty much a backup CB at best.

    He's not wrong, though.
