This could be nothing and of unimportance, but a Steelers fan account posted this:

And the Skins are apparently shopping him.

He'd be a legit safety IMO.

Little to go on with this guy he played his rookie year in 2016 not impressive stats and was on IR last year, so he is raw with no experience, the skins drafted him in the 2016 2nd round after he had 3 good seasons at USC and he is a big guy at 6-1 225 with 2 years left on his rookie contract a lot of potential, bradley could coach him up but I imagine the skins want too much to trade him to us....

Big time Cravens fan coming out of the draft. He had personal problems and concussion issues last season.

Id kick the tires on him, sure.

It also seems to say he’s the CEO. Big changes afoot, clearly.

But more seriously... I wouldn’t say no to Cravens.

If he can drop some weight and play box safety, I would not mind.

Apparently the Steelers met with him at the 2016 combine. Probably with a lot of others.

I liked him coming out. Was really hoping he would have dropped to us in Round 2 that year.

Definitely think he has the ability to play SS/Dime LB.

Wasn't he the skins' basket case last year or am I thinking of someone else?

    Just read up on it.

Suffered 2 concussons as a rookie. Hurt his knee in the pre season last year and then was diagnosed with post concusion syndrome.

He considered retirement and then wanted to return but Washington shut him down for the year.

Both Cravens and Bryant carry baggage. But a change of scenery could be good for both players and both teams. Good ol fashioned AFC-NFC trade.

It would solve our desperation for drafting a safety this year.

Other than Minkah and Derwin James, I would say Cravens would be the top safety vs this year's class.

I'll be the odd man out. I'll pass. Anyone remember Ladarius Green? This is not the team to turn around problem players anymore. If he is already a problem for someone he will no doubt be a problem here. If he is already a concussion risk that's not going away. I don't want to sign players that will be out for the season in week 3. I'd rather sign somebody who shuts their mouth and does their job.

I am thinking there is a ton of risk here but a very high reward. I remember when he came out he was that tweener prospect where he could be a S or LB and that is the direction you are starting to see the defense going. The thing that scares me is the concussions, we walked that road before with Green. However the difference is he is signed the next 3 years at a very good price at like a mil a season 1.2m next year is his highest. If he plays good this could be a make it move for us. I am not sure we give up Bryant for him I am thinking that is way to much with his off the field stuff and injuries I am thinking a 5th or 6th could get it done. imo well worth the gamble.

Him and Bryant are both one hit away from being done for the year. I'd say Cravens hit is more likely than Bryant's. Plus that name is one letter away from Ravens. Not really feeling it. Big gamble.

Does he have his head on straight? If not, no we don't need people

that don't have passion to play football.

Lol, I like your line of thought there Glenn.

It's why I'm hoping we draft Wyatt Teller, as he's only two letters away from us.

Let's say we trade a 5th for him, do you still think it is a gamble? He is signed for around a million the next 3 years that is dirt cheap in this day and age right?

Man I can hear it now............Cravens picks off the Ravens and sends them home for the playoffs............. Man I like the sound of that :smiley1:
