You hate to see players get injured, but Golson injuries was a blessing in disguise. The Steelers got lucky and signed his former Ole Miss teammate Mike Hilton. He has 4 sacks, and broke up 2 pass TDs in the Patriots game what a find.

Not bad for a guy who is too small to play football.

Hilton has been solid so far. I really like Sutton too. Good thing because Burns is leaving a lot to be desired, despite the interception which had more to do with Yates putting it way behind Fuller into Burn's lap. If Yates places that ball out in front of Fuller, Burns likely had no play and it's likely a TD.

Wonder if Golston will ever amount to anything? Gay is getting up there so it be nice to get another speedy play maker to take over when he is done.

    Didn't they cut him loose?

I'm assuming the Steelers will go into next season with Haden, Burns, Sutton and Hilton as their cornerbacks, with Allen possibly getting a shot to play more. The real issue is going to be safety. They absolutely have to bring in a quality free agent or draft one high.

And that other guy who was going to work at Dairy Queen. Maybe this team needs to start scouring the local malls for some talent.

They will draft another CB next year. Not 1st round, but they will draft one.

He can't seem to find his way onto the field while Mitchell and Golden continue to be useless, so that should tell you all you need to know. :)

It amazes me how good they are at finding undrafted and cut players and making them productive.

Maybe they should just draft wide receivers and trade them for defensive players. They seem to never miss lately on a receiver.

Yes, he cost Bryant a TD with his penalty on special teams that was the last time he played.
