And Sean Davis's inability to catch a ball and cover Gronk (although he should have had some help with the latter).

The Davis miss wasn't easy. Could it have been caught? Yes, but definitely not easy. Ben screwed up on those last two passes. He has to know the situation. If he throws the first one away as opposed to a one yard pass to the middle of the field with no time outs we have a chance at a real play. Not some bs where eli freaking rogers is the only wr running a route and he's surrounded by 4 patriots. It was pure stupidity on Ben's part.

Without a bad call by the refs, those other 2 plays are unnecessary!

By the rules they made the right call. The rule is bs, but it was the right call. The way we lost last night falls squarely on one player’s decision making. Those final two passes should have been thrown away. Throw the first one away and we have plenty of time to run a real play. Not some half assed sand lot bull ****

What was hard about that? An NFL safety should pick that off 99 out of 100 times. Unfortunately, that was the 1 out of 100 it didn't happen. It really didn't look like it was that difficult a catch. I realize he was moving in one direction and had to stop fairly quickly, but still.

Falling down, ball behind you, ball fluttering like a wounded dove...

Y’all can make try and blame Davis all you want, but this loss falls on #7. He played well up until the 28 second mark. Then he choked. Even Tony freaking romo called him on it.

I'd say BOTH Davis and Ben had a role in yet another loss to the flippin' Patriots! There were others too. Davis is no match for Gronk, Brady gives him an early Christmas gift and he drops it, Ben throws a stupid pass into the middle of the entire Pats defense. Pathetic!

The only player we had a chance of covering gronk with was sitting in a box. Gronk is simply that good and a matchup nightmare. People here chose to ignore gronk’s absence in the dolphins game.

Gronk is a beast no doubt. He stepped up and made plays and we didn't do what was needed to prevent it at crucial times. Can't blame that on the refs.

It's a rule that should have been fixed after the Dez Bryant nonsense. I might agree with you if this were a playoff game but, you have to go for it. This QB you dislike so much is a huge reason we've won the AFC north. Again!

It should be changed, but it hasn't been. Going for it and making stupid decisions is the difference between good and great. Or if you prefer the likely road to the Super Bowl going through Pittsburgh or Boston. I've got no problems with them going for it, but if it's not there it has to be thrown away. Throw away the first ball and we don't have the stupid one wr route on the second. On the second Eli wasn't open which means the ball has to be thrown away. One way you still have a chance to tie and win in overtime.

I love the weak attempts at deflection. No player is above criticism. Just because someone criticizes a player for making a stupid play doesn't mean that player isn't liked. If you're happy with winning the AFC North congratulations. We won the North. Personally, I want to win Super Bowls. I've never been a fan of second place or participation trophies.

Int at the end of the game or not I'll still take Ben for the Steelers over any other QB in the NFL today. Anyone putting this loss solely on Ben's shoulders is delusional.

I don’t think the INT at the end was on Ben. His WR got mugged in the end zone. Refs screwed us plain and simple.

Robbed? Have any of you visited the Steelers reddit forum? It's a cesspool filled with Pats fans gloating. They are maybe the biggest bunch of arrogant pricks ever.

Reddit is a cesspool filled with Pats trolls at the moment. They think they're justified by saying they won the game fair and square. Do you know what time the Pens and Pitt Panthers basketball is on tonight? I need a break from the Steelers.
