Good win, but the Steelers are the 4th best team in the AFC, IMO.

    Patriots
    Jaguars
    Chargers
    Steelers

    Fourth Best... Ehh I disagree...
Jaguars defense is better.. But they still have Blake Bortles
Chargers are on a roll yes, but still believe we can out score them.. and our D is better...
As for the Pats.. we will see this weekend

I’m happy with the win, but it feels kind of hollow.

Here's hoping that Ben becomes the only QB with FOUR 500 yd. games!

Every analysts love child. Rivers will fold like a cheap suit. He always has an okie performance in him. Just watch.

Chargers: Rivers is playing better now than he ever has. Steelers D can't stop Gordon.

Jaguars: Bortles wouldn't have to do much. Jags RBs would do all of the scoring and heavy lifting. Jags D can easily shut the Steelers down.

Patriots... it's all been covered. No need to say anything.

Steelers need to keep Heyward, Tuitt, Hargrave, Watt, Williams and Haden and scrap the rest on D. Total rebuild/overhaul.

Chargers? The team that gave the Browns their “1” in “1-28”.

we are the luckiest team in the league. we are not very good in so many aspects of the game but teams are letting us get away with it. i guess we keep riding the wave.:cool:

I've been able to watch Chargers and Jaguars over the past two weeks. DirecTV has Sunday Ticket for free. Both of those teams would run all over the Steelers. Both of those teams have better RBs and running game than the Ravens.

The Dolphins ran all over us last year. How did the playoffs turn out? The playoffs is a whole nother animal.

Sorry, I don't buy it this year. There's way too many holes and issues on defense. Steelers are gonna have to be aggressive in free agency to fix this. Might as well enjoy this year, because Ben will probably retire and the defense is going to take years to salvage. The loss of Shazier is a MAJOR setback. Porous D and new QB... hard times are ahead.

Like I said in another thread, we are really, really, going to miss Ben when he retires. He is in a zone now, hope it continues.

From my 45 years of watching this team, I can tell you that there is no time where the Steelers perform better than when they are an underdog at home.

So, we have that going for us.

Problem with this is the fact that Brady usually plays lights out at Heinz Field. It's like his home away from Gillette.

It was going to be a tall order to beat the Patriots WITH Shazier. Without him, there's really no hope.

We are one of the worst 2 or 3 11-2 teams in the league.

They have beaten Brady twice in my memory at home, 2004 and 2011- so it can be done. And more importantly, don't give up before the game is played. A lot can happen. I live in New England and many of my Pats fan friends are ****ting bricks over this game.

Lo I can remember the 2005-06 season on the other board, where so many gave up so much so soon. You think people fear the Patriots now? Oh now did they completely surrender to the great god Manning before the Colts playoff game that year.
