Since a lot of people here seem to be focusing on the negaitives from last night maybe something positive is in order.

    3-3 in redzone
    8-13 on 3rd down

That’s a vast improvement over what we’ve seen in earlier games

Too many people caught up in how we won. A win is a win in the NFL, these are all professional athletes for a reason. I agree, redzone offense did great, we witnessed a Vintage Big Ben last night, AB doing crazy AB things, and Le'veon with a quiet 180+ total yards game, as well as Martavis stepping up big. Once playoffs start it is a whole new season. Doesn't matter how we win, a W is a W. Performance does not effect seeding like NCAA. Do we need to play better? Of course. But can you people be happy that we are 9 and friggin 2? We will be fine. and Thank the Lord Shazier is OK. JuJu will be back soon and we will have another set of sure hands out there again. Haden will be back soon, too.

Oh and here's another thing, a lot of people on here seem obsessed with the pats. Yes, they are the team to beat and deservedly so, the are defending SB Champs. But they have definitely had their fair share of close games to underperforming teams this year... its not just us. Everyone take a deep breath and relax, 9-2 is pretty darn good.

Onto the Bengals, big game, lets get after it!

    Here We Go.

    3 turnovers
    3 drops
3 blown coverages that led to long TDs making a QB who was 2TD to 7INTs look like Aaron Rodgers

    and they still won.

    Should've been a big fat "L", so that's a positive for me.

In the 2nd half, I was impressed with the D line, finally pressuring Favre and getting some sacks. They were doing great until the Packers final drive, where they did their best Pats impersonation.... and Hundley was getting rid of the ball very fast.

And agree 100% with BobbyBiz, statistically, this is a game that we should have lost.

hmmm..have there ever been any Steeler games we lost that statistically we should have won? Did the other team look back and complain? Think their fans went out of their way to find a way to not enjoy the win? Just askin...

Yes it's quite obvious he is insane and must be stopped before he infects the others

MB gained some confidence I would think and we may have a new candidate for KR duties
Big Ben showed more accuracy, lack of focus by the WRs but Ben had some on-target throws
Offense had some good play calls
    Cam played awesome

Neither of us are complaining. We both find it a positive that they were able to find a way win when not playing their best game and making a TON of mistakes.

I don’t get caught up in how they win anymore.

I do however wet the bed each and every time they play like garbage and go “real steel” for some moments lol

Aside from positive #1, which is the fact that we won, the big positive for me is BEN. Ben was looking pretty old earlier in the season. Last night he looked like he shaved 2-3 years off of his age. Heck, he even tucked the ball under his arm and ran/shuffled for a couple of 1st downs. The last 6 quarters are the best he’s looked since the 2014 season.

Anything is possible if Ben is fully back to form.

This is the biggest positive for me, we have talked about how Ben was missing WIDE OPEN guys now he is dropping the rock in on a dime. He is getting his groove back and to me with the improved defense if Ben is on this team can only be stopped by itself.......no one else!

Yep. We probably can’t hold the Pats under 30, but if our offense plays to its potential we can win a 37-34 kind of game vs them at home. That avenue is starting to look possible.

Of course, with the way this team tends to defy expectations both positive and negative at times, maybe we see a 23-17 win and say “how the hell did the D pull that off?”

This! With finally Haley dropping his ego and listening to his eventual Hall of Fame QB to run the No Huddle. Ben seems to be back to the Ben we know. I like it, I like it a lot.

Add in Cam Heyward who is playing out of his mind like the leader he is.

Plus all the playmaking B's, Brown, Bell and Boz. And Bryant actually showed up and made some plays.

    9-2 on to bungle land.

That's all I ask for.. win or lose. Just be competitive and if the Patriots win in the last seconds, so be it.

Problem is... Steelers haven't been competitive vs. Patriots since 2011... and the first half of play vs. Patriots last year with Landry Jones at QB.

Not me. I want the win. Losing by 1 point is just as damaging to our goal of getting home field as losing by 30 is. To me it’s no different than being pissed that we only beat Green Bay by 3. Style points ultimately don’t count for anything. Wins and losses are all that matter in the end.

How about another positive..... I think they finished the game without any injuries. I also thought the Offensive line played very well.

Butler turned up the heat on Hundley in the second half, they got 4 sacks.

This shows how great he was - a QB from nearly 2 generations ago still needs to be pressured to secure a W today. ;) (Just messing with ya but they are both named Brett)

Hopefully the Steelers can pressure Ken Anderson on Monday night. Or is it Boomer Esiason?
