Agreed. I want every Steeler game to be played at 1:00 PM EST with no exceptions except the Super Bowl.

Dude, I hate them so much. I work at 5 a.m. and typically get to bed around 11:30 p.m. It SUCKS.

I'm on the West Coast so it's not that bad, it would suck to be on the East Coast and have to stay up until almost midnight to see the game.

I enjoy them. It lets me get things done during the day. Evening is always quieter. Less distractions and commitments.

Dallas and raiders are slotted for that game, unlikely either team will be any where close to leading their division and the viewing ratings wont be high enough to be a must see game..........

I’ve been a night-owl all my life, so they don’t bother me. If anything, it’s easier to watch after the kid’s in bed—I just have to tone down the personal “color commentary”.

If they win --late night games are good.
If they lose-- not worth losing the sleep .

    Week 15 (December 17):

    • Tentative game: Dallas @ Oakland
    • Prospects: 5-3 v. 4-5, but again it would take the apocalypse hitting to dislodge a Cowboys game from Sunday night.
    • Likely protections: Patriots-Steelers (confirmed) (CBS) and probably Packers-Panthers (FOX).
    • Other possible games: Rams-Seahawks looks to be a very strong potential option. Dolphins-Bills and Cardinals-Trumps are dark horses.

Not sure what that has to do with flexing our games, but since you brought it up...

The Pats just acquired another malcontent and are going to get all-world production out of him. He'll probably be this year's Hogan and light us up for 200+ right down the middle of our stinking zone.

Bennett is damaged goods, and the only reason they signed him was because the pack had already paid his signing bonus and half of his salary so they signed him for 450K, the pack cut him because he hid a rotator cuff tear so he unlikely will not be able to play through this injury for long:

    SB Nation:
Bennett was waived by the Packers on Wednesday after he failed to report a medical condition to the team. It’s a torn rotator cuff, according to NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport. Bennett may be able to play through the injury. If he can’t, the Patriots lose nothing by placing him on injured reserve.

Bennett said in October that he planned to retire following the 2017 season. That, along with the undisclosed medical condition, raised questions about Bennett’s future once he hit the waiver wire.

I wouldn't be surprised to see Belli sign a one-armed taxi driver from Bangladesh with a hair lip and hodgkins to run rampant through our zone coverage. Bennett has at least a leg (or an arm as the case may be) up on Ahnad.

You’re thinking of Srinath Hairlepp—renowned Feni University wideout. Still holds numerous Dhaka Division records. Sadly, his badmouthing of the Feni quarterback—the son of a very prominent politician—resulted in a sedition conviction. They say his hands were never the same, and his promise of a fabled career never blossomed.

In my 20's and 30's... I loved night games. Now that I'm in my 40's...not so much. I guess it's an age thing. Work is hell on Mondays, Tuesdays or Fridays after night games. Even if I don't drink beer, win or lose.... the next day sucks.

Don't fear, when you hit your 60's you won't remember if you were awake or asleep or for that matter who was even playing. And the best part, you can hide your own Easter eggs. Now if I can only figure out how to extend the 5 minute life of a roll of Super 8mm movie film, I'll be able to record an entire game off of the TV console. ;)

These night games will be a killer. I wonder if NBC will flex out that GB game?

Need about 6-7 hours. Don't get that with Steelers night games. Are you a doctor?

Yup, I generally get 5 to 5 1/2 hours a night, so late games aren't a problem for me.

Can't wait for this 4 week stretch.

He's bitching about needing surgery to get right... Bitching about GB wanting him to play. So he goes to NE and is expected to get right by playing? And no longer needs surgery? I can't figure this **** out.

Does seem strange that doctors would tell him to play through his injury:

The answer, according to Bennett, is that he was very transparent about the injury, which got worse as the year went on, but was told to play through it by Packers doctors. When he chose to have surgery instead of playing through the shoulder tear, Green Bay decided to cut him. Packers veterans, for what it's worth, have come out in defense of their doctors.
