juju gets his first catch today vs. the horny heads. i liked the pick when we made it and i think he has a good future with us. the kid is very young. this season with mann still here will be crucial to him. if we waited he wouldn't have that chance to get good coaching from a long time vet smart man.

steel, i didn't care for tankersley in this draft because of his hit and miss ability to tackle or get involved in tackling. willingness i guess. i like corners that mix it up against the run.

You are correct, Tankersley is more of a finesse corner. All else being equal I like a CB that is strong in the run game. However, first and foremost, I want a CB that can cover ;)

Then you should know that there was an NFL player on the field and not a lacrosse player. You should know how hard it is to play in this league, you should know that a guy that puts up 700 yards during the regular season while playing behind Edleman and then another 300+ in the playoffs is the work of a WR, not a lacrosse player.

    The lacrosse narrative is stupid.

We lost to a baseball player a couple of years ago. Now THAT was embarrassing....

Smith will be fine. He has some Hines like qualities that I appreciate.

There was a run on CBs and safeties in the second round before the Steelers picked, the Packers took safety Josh Jones right one pick before the Steelers were on the clock. The Steelers had Jones in for a visit before the draft, it would've been interesting if he was still on the board to see who they take. I wasn't a big fan of the JuJu pick, but I think he will be a solid possession WR.

Do you think JuJu tells TJ that he himself should have been the #1 pick?

Honestly I'd say that deep down every player in the league thinks they should have been the number one pick.

It was a bad pick but I gave up worrying about it. I do think he'll be a decent player and we signed Haden.

    Let's go win #7.
