Don't worry it will happen. We have been saying that for well over a year now.

Dobbs may have had more rough moments than good throughout the preseason. That being said, he is far better now than he was when Training Camp started.

In my eyes, his future is very bright. Cannot wait until 2018 to see how he has grown.

Until then, let us take our ascension to the stairway first.

The Pens have a better chance of winning another Stanley Cup this year than the Steelers do of winning number 7 this year. Hope they can both pull it off.

I don't know about that. Winning back to back is hard enough but three in a row? Then to add all the offseason losses?

Steelers got better in the offseason and have improved each year since 2014 as far as advancing in the playoffs. I know that doesn't bare any merit, but all the pieces seem to be shaping up for a Dallas Steelers superbowl, with Steelers winning on a last second drive with Bell catching it and screaming 20 million!!! then I smile and fade away from a silent but wonderful myocardial infarction.

I do not know too much about hockey. However, outside the Predators, is there anyone from the Western Conference that gives you a pause for concern?

Going to hurt without the likes of Chris Kunitz, Nick Bonino, Matt Cullen, Trevor Daley and Fleury. But I trust everything Rutherford and Sully do. You can put any rookie or unexperienced player on Sids line and he will make them a good player, for example, Guentzel and Sheary. We will have a bigger target on our back than ever, but I think we can do it.

As for the Steelers, I have a good feeling about this year if we stay healthy. We're making moves via trade and Free Agency, like Haden and McDonald, because the front office knows our window is closing because Big Ben is is getting older.

It would be nice to be the "City of Champions" again like '79 and '08-'09, and I think it can happen. Lets do it.

    He We Go. LGP.

Watch out For the Blackhawks. They got swept in the first round last year, but they won the Finals in 10, 13, and 15. They just signed Brandon Saad who won 2 of the 3 championships with them, even though he played for the Blue Jackets the last two years. He is still in his prime at 24 years old. Saad was also born in Pittsburgh.

A lot of teams in both conferences give me cause for concern but I think it I just the way it is meant to be. They overcame a lot of injuries last year and had some close calls but talent wise and coaching they look stronger than last year. The odd thing is the odds should be against them winning their third in a row but they are favorites before the season even starts. It will be a fun year.

How much do you think the NFL is getting from Microsoft everytime the refs do a replay on the surface tablets and the logo gets prime product placement.

I wonder how much they got from Johnny Manziel bashing it off of his head.

Terrible start. But he played better late in the 4th. Couple big hits. Can offer on ST.

Certainly will not make the 53 but could be something down the road.

If Ben returns in 2018 just not sure the FA money is going to be there.

    I do like Vaccarro though.

    Ben returns, trade bell
    Ben retires, pay bell

either way creates plenty of cap space.

We are actually in really good shape cap wise next year, we can keep both if we want.

i agree it will tighten up some with tuitt and shazier and bryant coming due in the next couple of years. we will lose guys like harrison eventually and foster and moats and gay and mitchell and golden and DHB. not quite the money that will be needed but these all will help at some point. then the biggy in ben and bell? and pouncey eventually. the process will begin again.

As Mac pointed out, we need to start saving for Shazier. He will be expensive.

Unfortunately I think Tuitt could get squeezed out. Too bad. He is a great talent.

Shazier accounts for over 8 million in cap next year, any extension will actually reduce his 2018 cap hit.

In watching the replay of the Steelers-Panthers game tonight on NFL channel - when they were coming back from a commercial and panning the Downtown area of Charlotte - the Carolina announcer said "It's indeed a beautiful City, but if you're a Steeler fan, don't move here - there's too many of you here already!" I was LMAO. I think the Arizona and San Diego (sorry - LA) announcers could make the same argument.

Yep the city is nice ,but let the Steelers fans move on in . I live in NC and I am sure there is more Steelers fans than any other Team . The Cryboys are up there to ,but we still rank supreme.
