Ooh, I had missed that. I just went back and re-watched it, and now the intro is a little more interesting than I originally thought.

The reason I missed it is because over the last couple of years, my wife has become more freaked out by anything creepy, including the Walking Dead (this stuff didn't bother her previously). So now, we have to watch with the lights on, and that first scene was so dark it was hard to see with all of our lights on in the living room

So I have been waiting to hear what everyone's thoughts were on this and since there was no post I am thinking it isn't good. I thought it was ok but I did have a problem with all of a sudden Rick forgets how to fight...wtf? A walker with spikes big deal I am pretty sure Rich has handled worse...whatever! Also I am not buying father gabe's story, something don't add up. If they took him by surprise then why did someone pop up in the car, idk something just didn't add up to me.

Other then that some good scene's with Daryl and Carol and Daryl and the kingdom dude can't remember his name.

I liked it, my only complaint is dragging out the wussification of Carol story line.

I dont know what you wanted Rick to do, NY, he had no weapons, the thing had a helmet on and spikes sticking out everywhere.

Their army is getting bigger, I imagine the group Tara met will be recruited too. Wonder what it will take for the Kingdom to join.

I don't trust those Mad Max cosplayers at all.

It's been maybe 3 years, 4 tops since everything collapsed. Why the hell are they all talking like that???

At least Carol finally articulated what exactly was bothering her other than "I don't want to kill." Now just wait until she finds out the truth. ;)

I don't think Richard is long for this world. You can't tick off people on both sides and expect to go untouched for long.

Rick suffered 2 puncture wounds... from spikes coming off a dead guy... in a trash heap. What? We just don't get infections anymore?! If they had any sense of obligation towards keeping the story somewhat realistic, at the very least, Rick should lose that hand. Just saying. ;)

Well Rick has taken on a herd of walkers with just a hatchet or a knife.....a herd!!!!! One freakin walker in spikes should have been a walk in the park for him. That's all I am saying, Rick is bad ass we have seen it before.

I really think when Carol finds out the truth she will talk King E to join Rick. I am still thinking Richard will get killed by Negan and that may also be the turning point for the Kingdom.

You dang comic book enthusiasts, lol. I have no desire to see that arc followed. I hated that they followed the Glen storyline, having never read the comics, I thought and felt that Glenn should have definitely survived the zombie apocalypse.

Man Id hate watching a movie or tv show with you :lolol:

Last I checked, zombies were killed with a head shot. How was he going to accomplish that with no weapons and the Walker wearing a helmet????

Don't lie you want to watch a movie with me cause you know there would be a popcorn/skittle fight....lmao. As for the whole helmet thing that wasn't my point. my point was look what Rick has been thru, he is a bad ass. Just recently he fought off a herd out side the RV with no weapon. :smiley1:

When he was limping out of the trash heap, my wife was asking how soon Rick would die from Septicemia. :lolol:

I thought it was a pretty good episode in terms of watchability, but any scene where Carol has any legitimate dialog is a good opportunity to grab some ice or take the dog out.

    I didn't mind the episode.
I kind of agree that it seems as though Rick should have fared better against the walker. Throw the damn microwave at him or something.
And I agree that the junkyard folks aren't right. While they may be able to fight, I assume most of then are just there to up the body count when the inevitable happens. I just don't see that group as good fighters.
And exactly where does the Alexandrians go to get weapons? I assume with the saviors there isn't much left anywhere. Do they plan on raiding another savior outpost? Find an army base?
I just can't realistically imagine there's some unearthed weapons cache that hasn't been discovered in 4 years.

I forgot to comment on that, hope this is an act, no way they fall into that after 4 years.

Rick commented on that specifically. He just kind of brushed it off and said something like, "we always find a way."

I am starting to think this is where Richard is going to come into play. I just have a feeling the Kingdom has a stock pile and Richard will end up telling Rick and/or Daryl. Question why is Negan not taking over the Kingdom, I know they have a deal but if Negan is so bad why would he make a deal and not just take like every other group? I know this was mentioned but I can't remember why.

I dont remember or even know if a reason was given other than they have a deal. I guess as long as they meet their quota, Negan has no reason to go in there. It is a little strange though he would agree to that.

As for where they will find more weapons, my guess is this is where they tie in Taras episode, those people had a bunch of weapons if I'm not mistaken. And you know they will just be itching to kill the Saviors after what they did to them.

I sure hope there was more of a point to the Tara episode than just to show how often she's tested to keep her word to them. It would be a waste of a pretty blah episode IMO.

I thought the first meeting we saw with King E and the saviors something was mentioned about the deal they had and why it was suppose to be secret. IDK

As for Tara's deal I sure hope so too and that is why Rich said to her you have been out further then any of us you can tell us where not to go......

Here we go again another ho hum episode, at least we got a little Negan. I am really starting to think they have to many people on this show. I think that is cause they are setting up for the big kill at the end of this season. To keep having shows that leave out your main group sucks, sorry if you don't agree but this is just my opinion.

I agree, I liked it. So is Eugene acting or really going over to the dark side? He had that little smile earlier in the show, was that Im fooling them smile or man I can get to liking this smile?

I thought it was the best episode of this half by a mile. Pretty sure that was his I'm going to do whatever it takes to stay alive smile. Seemed pretty clear to me they're setting it up for Eugene and Dwight playing a major role in negan's downfall.

I think so too but it would be a wicked curve if say he kills Rosita or someone from Ricks group when they attack.

This is a guy who misled people about a cure because it gave him the best chance of survival. he may feel Negan gives him his best chance of survival now.
