You can disagree Blast but first it is my feelings about this show and I feel like it has sucked this half of the season. Second as you disagree and are enjoying it just check the ratings, I am not alone. I posted in this thread a while back just how far the ratings dropped. Because I have spent 6 mostly good seasons with this show I am sticking with it but it no longer feels like xmas morning anymore when me, my wife and kids wake up on Sunday morning. JMO :smiley1:

    FYI:

While viewers always drop off to a certain extent after season premieres, this is simply unprecedented for The Walking Dead. Losing over 6 million viewers in just five episodes is not a fluke, and the downward trend may not be over yet. Having just 11 million viewers drops The Walking Dead to a viewership level not seen since season 3. The show was still popular then, but with seasons 4 and 6 averaging about 12-13 million viewers an episode, and season five averaging more like 13-15, this is obviously not the direction The Walking Dead wants to be moving. Season 6 may have indicated a slow decline, but now in season 7, viewer interest is dying off at a simply alarming rate.

You're funny NY, its like you need justification that you dont like the show. See, look at all these people who agree with me :lolol:

Guess what, I still disagree with you and so do millions of other viewers! Oh no, I have millions who agree with me, what now! LOL. Sillyness.

.....lol, just for the record I did not say I don't like the show. I actually love the show and right up to this season was like a kid on xmas morning on Sundays. This season has been very hard to watch for me and the family, to many side stories when there were so many main stories to be told. This season has turned me so far, I no longer have that "can't wait" feeling. I hope this half of the season changes that and since the group is back together it looks promising.........

A little bit off topic, but for anyone who was an Andrea fan, the actress who portrayed her (Laurie Holden) will be joining The Americans this season as a love interest for Stan (Noah Emmerich) who played Dr. Edwin Jenner, the CDC guy on TWD who told Rick everyone was infected.

Dont forget to tune in tonight! Looking at you NY, I know you are eagerly awaiting this!

I wonder it if will start with a bang or a whimper. I cant imagine Negan will be too pleased that Daryl escaped.

Lol I did and even the wife watched......not the bang we were expecting but at least it was a hell of a lot better then almost any one from the 1st half of this season. From the previews it looks like next week could be a very interesting show. I can't wait to see what Gabriel is up too and who was in the back seat.

Did you watch the Talking Dead, Dwill was on there. He is a big time TWD fan and even had a Zombie wedding....lol!

Other then the 1st and last show of this season every other one in the first half of this season was by far worse, jmo. As for a midseason premier yeah it was pretty lame.....the clothes line walker thing was cool. I think next week it should get better with King E having a little problem at the meet.

Couldn't disagree more. I can't think of a single episode last season that was worse than that drivel last night. Rick's rock in the road parable was asinine. Spare me with the zombie limbo scene.

I did see it, cant believe he did a zombie themed wedding :roflmao:

I liked the episode. Thought the mowing down the zombies with the cable was awesome.

Looks like Rick just found a whole bunch more fighters, judging from that smile.

Can't wait for Carol to find out about Glenn and Abraham, especially Glenn. Keep forgetting that she and Morgan didn't know about that. That will definitely bring Carol back into it. Morgan is close too, ready to break.

That's cool cause I can think right off the bat Swear sticks out in my head. Basically this was all about Tara and this new secret group however Tara isn't even a top 10 Character and this show focused on her....gag! Last nights might have been a little slow but at least the whole gang was in it...jmo.

Yeah he actually had a regular wedding then did a zombie type one is the way I understand it, they showed pics it was cool. I thought the cable thing was cool one of the better parts of the show but it was kinda ho hum for us waiting so long.

As for Carol and Morgan I agree and when they told Morgan I was like oh crap he didn't know, I forgot cause the first half of this season jumped so much onto so many "other" people and groups. I think when Carol finds out about Abe and Glenn she will be pissed but when she finds out King E is protecting Daryl that is when she will get back to business, jmo

I thought the same thing about Rick's smile. It was either that, or he's just laughing at the fact that they're already boned by the Saviors, and the irony of another group now wanting a piece.

As for Carol, she will come around soon I think, as you said. I just don't understand why she kind of fell of the rails. I get she didn't like the person she became, but she has to realize that this is the way of this world.
As for Morgan, I think he might eventually snap out of his funk too. I think that the younger guy (the one that met Carol in the woods) will get killed by a Savior and that will make Morgan snap.

So, where did Gabriel go? I will only assume he had a purpose for going on his journey. What for? What does he think he's going to find? And why take every single piece of food they had?

Without weapons, how does Rick plan on taking on the Saviors? I know they now have some explosives, but that isn't enough. Even if he gets the manpower, what's the play? Unless they try something similar to the last time where they stormed an outpost and just slaughtered everybody. But do it simultaneously at all of the outposts. But how many are there?

Jeremy, I think the kids name in the woods with Carol is Jeremy. And you're probably right, would also get Ezekiel to commit, too. I thought the kids pitch to Ezekiel would have been enough, was a good pitch.

Gabriel went to the boat, that was my understanding, I think he went to recruit but I dont know how he could have known their would be anyone there to recruit.

I dont think they are going to hit the outposts, think they are going to go right to the heart. Thats what the explosives are for. To bad Negan took the RPG.

I thought it was a good episode, and definitely better than many episodes earlier this season.

My wife and I both loved the clothesline scene. That was pretty great :icon e biggrin:

I assume it was because of the mystery boots guy in the hoodie at the end of the mid-season finale (at least I think it was that episode). My wife said she thought someone else was in the car when he drove off. I didn't notice that.

There was definitely someone else in the car. You see him sit up in the back seat as Gabriel drives away. My first thought was he meant to harm Gabriel but I think now he approached Gabriel at the gate (In the beginning of this episode, you see him watching Gabriel) and convinced him to do this for some reason and then was hiding in the car as not to be seen by anyone else.
