While I echo the sentiment privately I belive we are better than this and at least more intelligent and articulate than those Boston Beantown crazies. That bein said, f the Pats and their unholy cheating asses.

Tomlin described it as selfish, foolish, and inconsiderate. He couldn't be more correct on this. AB is one of my all time favorites to watch play. He was easy to cheer for when he got to Pittsburgh, especially when you consider his small stature and draft position.... Brown took a real hit on how he is perceived by the rest of the league and fans. He's being called immature and self absorbed. Another misstep like this and they'll start comparing him to Odell Beckam

 

To be honest, he's always kind of had this kind of reputation. He is a diva off the field, so I believe there will always be stuff like this with him. It's unfortunate but it's no reason to fret.

At least he doesn't smoke weed....

 

You're right about him being a diva but I think he had endeared himself with the fan base so much that it was overlooked. He's less likely to get the benefit of the doubt go forward.

 

AB just needs to mature off and on the field..as dad would say "that boy is still wet behind the ears."

 

I am glad to hear they will discipline AB84 in some way. As should the NFL. I'm OK with the camera phones running after team meetings etc but that really showcased his vanity.

And I don't like the distraction. Mike Tomlin's comments were mild to say the least imo, things are said way more harsh than that. I can't imagine Cincy and Balt weeks... That is not the distraction I'm talking about. I'm commenting more on the team's view of the video and the scuttlebutt they have to deal with now in answering questions about it. This is still not a big distraction in my eyes. But you have at least one player speaking out negatively about it. LS Greg Warren being one. Yes, yes, I know the LS, but if there's one guy actually talking about it, then more are thinking it. Does it turn into anything more, probably not because they know and see AB84's work ethic on a daily basis.

As a fan I am disappointed in AB84's seemingly disrespectful and self absorbed attitude but I think the players are more forgiving and this is really a small hurdle for them to overcome.

As for billboard material for New England...please I don't think so. Brady, in the always present, "I'm better than you NE attitude", says Belicheat would never allow that and Edelman's "that's how they run things over there" or whatever he said is really just talk they hear during every game against every opponent. I think the players know the AFCCG is much broader than 'azzholes vs anarchists'.
