The team was already built, they won the SB 2 years prior to MT, he's still riding the wave. He was given the silver spoon. Wasn't the defence ranked in the top 5 for his first 5 or 6 years as the coach, that can make anybody look good. That would be like Pete Carroll retiring in Seattle, then somebody takes over and stacks the winning % numbers. The coordinators run the show not him.

 

The team went through a transition for 2-3 years, and now they're back to being AFCN champs. Tomlin has gotten more involved with the defense now that LeBeau is gone. The HC has final say over what the coordinators do duh.

 

The team was aiming down hill for 2 years. No wave, tide was going out. Wooden spoon. Defense was getting old. Tomlin runs the coordinators.

Other than that, I didn't find anything to disagree with.

I don't think Coach T was ever a Cowboys fan at all. I think he just used that line as an intro to his very clever insult to Terry's intelligence.

Aiming down hill?, they won the SB his second season as the coach and went again in 2011. Like I said before the D was in the top 5 for his first 6 seasons and we all know that Defence wins. ( most of us know) In 07 ranked #1, 08, ranked #1, 09, 5th, 2010, 2nd, 2011, #1, 2012 , #1. then in 2013 began to suck. DL , BA and Ben ran the show, Tomlin just stood around and cheered ( like he does today) he didn't even lift the Lombardi trophy cus he knew that wasn't his team.
