Xmas Night Game??

Didn't we have the night game? Just looked at the schedule on nfl.com and saw the donkeys-chiefs were the teams at night. Did we get flexed out or was it always an afternoon game for us?

 

Nope. Sadly it's an afternoon game. It really should be a primetime game though. Sadly a lot of people on here won't even be able to watch it because they don't have NFL Network.

4:30 game is perfect for me. Have to get up for work at 5:30 am Monday. Night game would suck trying to do that.

Yea, The NFL Network thing is bizarre. Thankfully I have it. It's like they want to feel relevant to CBS, NBC or FOX. But sadly those networks are willing to cheapen themselves during the last fiscal week of 2016.

 

I get up between 4:30 and 5. Those night games, kill me. I'm not a kid anymore. It takes days to catch up.

 

Just look at team schedules broncos/chiefs was always scheduled for the 25th sunday night game, and we were scheduled for the afternoon game, and the broncos/chiefs have playoff implications in their game, otherwise we would have been flexed into the night game....

 

Same here, jeh. when the schedule comes out each year I have to take vacation days every work day following a night game. It's hell getting old...

 

Geez, how old are you guys?!

I'm in my 50s and don't have that much trouble.
Just double up on the usual amount of coffee.
And amphetamines.

I get up at 5 every morning. I always fall a sleep with any night game. What I been doing now is DVR the games. I wake up around 2 or 3, take a P, skip through all the BS and watch the game in about 45 minutes.

 

Knee deep....

 

Good thing about night games here in the south west is after the time change they start at 6:30 PM, before the time change they start at 5:30 PM, tomorrows steeler game starts at 2:30.............

 

You must be in Arizona?

 

Yep, and at my age I need these earlier start times...
