The Steelers kickoff return game will not be much of a factor on Sunday. Good weather means that most of Tucker's kickoffs (hopefully not many) will go through the back of the end zone.

ST will be very important Sunday, we need to be MUCH better on our kick coverage and tackling.

I was hoping Ayers would get a shot last game.

    Ayers? What about Gilbert?

Is this the trade for a corner that doesn't see action for this year?

The guy won't be on the roster next season IMHO. Adds nothing as a runner, lost the fumble which cost us the playoff game against Denver last season and he's not doing anything special on special teams. In fact, he's sucking it up on special teams it appears. He's cheap but not sure the value is there with him. Probably a handful of players on practice squads throughout the league that are better.

I was wondering why Boz weren't kicking them out the endzone

Well he's lasted this long....sometimes we are frustratingly slow in cutting ties with non productive players like Jacoby Jones last year. Sometimes Tomlin takes a liking to somebody and they are allowed to hang around a little longer than their production would dictate....and Tomlins reasoning is just as confusing when asked about his position on KO returns....

I wouldnt mind that but Ayers was a top kick returner in college.

According to the "Intel" thread, all 47 of Tucker's kick-offs this year have been touchbacks.

It kills me when I see guys like Fitz standing in the end zone waiting to receive a kickoff and they're acting all swaggy or whatever like they're really about to take one to the house. Yeah. Right.

Just need to keep Tomlin on the sidelines. The team needs to have a "We got this" attitude.
