I mean... JJ's days are numbered but not because of Tull and Riddick. JJ will just play out the rest of his deal and sign as a back up somewhere else.

Idk much about either guy other than my brother played against Riddick's HS team in the state finals haha he went to WVU. I think I remember people talking about Tull a few drafts ago as a late round guy they liked but I don't recall. Neither seems like a guy that will stick on the 53.

Shaquille Riddick was one of my favorite 2015 edge rushers. Sadly, I guess things did not work out in Arizona.

Here is hoping to things working out though in Pittsburgh. Mr. Riddick, SteelersNation welcomes you with open arms.

In addition, Davis Tull is quite an explosive athlete. His issue currently is the injury woes.

Either way, really do like both these pickups. Hopefully they can become something better with time on the practice squad considering they still do have the upside to do it.

Not so sure about these ones. Both Riddick and Tull still have time to unlock their potential.

Both are gifted athletes the same. Hopefully a change of scenery makes them more than just special teamers.

Not replacing anyone now with 2 late season acquisitions.

JH and Bud are getting all the snaps anyway.

Moats and JJ are riding the pine for the time being.

I really liked Tull when he came out. He was just tried out though? Not signed?

Agree, I don't see where Tull was signed. They signed Riddick and a smaller Cornerback Mike Hilton.

Riddick is 6'6" and by most reports 260-270. Long, lean kinda guy. May not have the straight line speed Feeney had, but is a great athlete himself. 1 year at WVU after playing FCS football for 3. Developmental guy with more upside than Feeney imo.

Tull was an FCS guy too. Hit his ceiling there athletically. Don't know much about Hilton, other than a Golson clone.. 5'9" 185 out of Ole Miss too.

Nice bit of info on Riddick....." so your saying there's a chance"....."obviously" not JJs replacement this part of the season ,but a hole to fill with losing Freeney. JJ won't be back unless it's on the cheap...real cheap.

i'd like to see riddick become some depth for next year. he has good speed and size. we should have some openings. hilton played fs at mississippi too. not expecting too much from him though. his size hurts him with average speed. he's been hurt a lot similar to his buddy golson.
