I mentioned this during the game thread yesterday but did anyone notice that when AB scored they cut away and didn't show him celebrating? They instead cut to Beckham enjoying him celebrating. I'm just curious if anyone thinks that was intentional on the part of the league?

Don't know, but I think I'd have been a little ticked off if OBJ had just scored and they showed AB smiling and enjoying his TD celebration.

I think some Giants fans actually aren't all that amused or enthused by AB and OBJ's bromance. I just wish AB was playing OBJ like Bill Russell used to play Wilt or Jordan used to play Barkley. I'm no all that comfortable with our guys looking so close and comfy with their opponents either but they play on the same side of the ball so I don't feel as bothered by it I suppose. If it was Ben yucking it up with Burfict though I'd definitely not be happy.

I though OBJ was smiling at AB's amazing catch, not the celebration. Either way not a big deal.

I guess it would have been ok with me if they would have had there little date after the game. But Saturday night before the game. Not so sure I like that. I haven't played pro football, bit I played in college and last person I wanted to hang out with the night before a game was the opponent. No big thing, just odd if you ask me.

I don't have a problem!!! In good fun they probably had a little side bet. "hey I bet I get more TD's than you today!!!

The problem is " for the love of the game" has been replaced by "I love the money I can make in this game". Today's athletes many of them have the same agents and sponsorships so they have a lot more friendly interactions off the field....plus many other factors that make them chummy. It is what it is,it's not gonna change. There are still a few players that really dislike each other and they are usually well publicized....I mean there are a few players that I really dislike ,but I've narrowed it down to the other31 teams...:smiley1:

AB and OBJ are not on the field at the same time. I have no problem with the Saturday gathering. Did a little off time gathering lesson AB's preparation for the game?

Yea it probably was a nice dinner like women BFF's would hang out on a Saturday afternoon.

AB, Hey Beck, How you like my new shoes?

OBJ - They're great. What do you think of my new ear rings?

Oh' there splendid. Let's go shopping some more.

As long as AB is producing then I don't have a problem with it. Now, if he was having a bad game and chumming it up with the opposition then that's a problem

Back in the day when you didn't "hang" with your opponent.

Man Greene got his money's worth on that kick. Two Stains and a ref in one shot.

    Probably was fined $50.

Really does not effect me one bit if they like each other or not. If anything, I prefer they like each other, then you don't have to worry as much about dirty pukes like Burfict taking our players out.

Now, if I hate a team, then I enjoy it more when the Steelers beat those teams.

Looks Like the ref is in on the action and caving in the Browns guys helmet and it doesn't look like an illusion.

OBJ and AB are friends who work out during the off season. Not a biggie in my mind

The meaning of this photo is really driven home with that little arrow showing Greene's foot traveling crotchward.

It seemed like the TV crew cut away from the celebration, but to who's benefit? Maybe the Steelers asked because they don't want anymore choreographed celebration penalties and denying AB some air time is their way of trying to curb it. IDK just speculating. Do the Steelers have that kind of pull with the TV crews??

They went to OBJ, so I'm guessing they wanted to get his reaction. Good call considering how he did react.
