I know the Steelers just signed a RB recently to replace Karlos Williams, but I really liked DJ Foster out of Arizona State in the past draft. He's practically another WR coming out of the backfield much like Bell. He's only 6' 195 so he won't command big carries for the inside run game but he could be a good asset in the passing game.

Had my eye on him most of the year, but he didn't get a lot of snaps. I know, sign this guy, sign everyone, but I think he would be a good pick up giving Bell's uncertain status for next year.

Steelers would only have to put in a waiver claim, not put him on the 53.

seems like we are stockpiling rb's for the possibility of life without bell next year. dwill also. remember he's good still but way up there for a rb in this league. we just signed the kid from wvu onto the squad.

He is a dual threat running and catching the ball, he had about the same yardage at ASU in both catogories, 2355 rushing and 2458 receiving, we could use him at receiver right now for sure..........

Knowing the Patriots, there's probably something about this guy the rest of the league doesn't know. Like his eyeballs are about to fall out or something.

This guy is no Bell. Those numbers may sound impressive until you factor in he did it over 4 years. Bell does that in a season.

Toussaint can do what this guy does.

In his junior year he had 194 carries for 1081 yards and 62 receptions for 688 yards, thats 1769 from scrimmage for 12 TDs, his senior year he transitioned to WR he had only 55 carries but caught 59 passes for 584 yards and 4 TDs , and thats what got him undrafted, I watched him play for 4 years, he can be a good player for somebody....

You cherry picked his best year. His receiving numbers aren't bad but I still don't think he offers anything more than Fitz does.

If that had been his senior year stats he would have been drafted instead of UFA..
Presently He would be a project and not a right now player for anybody, he only has 7 carries and 1 reception as a pro, he was a declared receiver his senior year that also hurt his stats, so he is raw with a lot to learn, and right now we don't have the time to get him acclimated here..........

If he's close to Barry Foster, I say sign the man
