Yep. The Steelers defense is tied (with Buffalo and Houston) for 12th in the NFL @ 21.5 ppg. Indy is 26th at 27.3 ppg. Just a tad better.

let's get it to top 10 by the end of the year please. Hell if we are 32nd and win a SB then i'll care less if we give up 40 pts a game.

I live in Indiana just an hour and a half away from Indianapolis.

Coulda, Woulda, Shoulda gone to the game but it was piss poor planning on my part.

I'd say it's not too late but the wife already made plans for us to host some friends for Turkey day.

Wonder if anyone would notice if I just don't show up?

I Will never forget the infamous coin toss on thanksgiving day 1998:

NFL referee Phil Luckett had one of the more embarrassing Thanksgiving NFL moments, as he audibly mistakes Pittsburgh Steelers running back Jerome Bettis' call of 'tails' on the overtime coin flip which would've been right. The Lions instead got the ball and kicked a game-winning field goal 3 minutes in OT.

It's kind of was the highlight of the 1998,1999,2000 Steelers Seasons

Yeah, that game marked the beginning of that dreadful period of Steelers football. We almost certainly would have made the playoffs in 2000 if we hadn't started Kent Graham at QB and opened 0-3, though.

Also, wasn't that the season that bad calls by the refs cost us three games? Cleveland and Philly were two of them; I don't recall the third.

I'm living in my lucky underwear and socks. It's not the game that's starting to worry me.

I'm not sure if/when the Steelers ever played on Thanksgiving in the pre Noll era, but I do remember them playing in 1983, a year when they won the AFC central, and losing to the Lions 45-3 in one of the worst performances of the Noll era. I remember them running the ball at the end of the game just to make it end faster.

I'm not. Whatever's going to happen is going to happen.
I'm going to be decked out in my Steelers gear watching and cheering.
Plenty of things in life to live in fear of. The outcome of a football game isn't one of them for me.

I don't live in fear in any aspect of life.

    Regardless, we'll handle the Colts.

Not afraid, but worried. I hope the Steelers come in well prepared and play smart. But we just don't know which team will take the field.
