Play against them in madden lol. (Kinda serious)

We supposedly beat good teams and are good at home, but Dallas are road warriors and don't lose to bad teams. 7 game win streak vs 3 game losing...

Big D lines give their offense some road blocks (Giants, eagles) but dak is good. Our front 7 is worse than eagles lol.

    1. Limit zeke otherwise that's game

    2. Try and confuse dak with blitzes(not sure how but he looks pedestrian when pressured, as do most)

    3. Aggressive on offense. No huddle whatever. Dallas has a good D. There I said it. It's a better bend but not break D than ours

    4. Watch whitten and Beasley on 3rd downs

    5. Pray for a miracle

This Dallas team plays 60 minutes. Any mistakes or if you let up you will not win.

That being said I predict a 30-27 Steelers win

I expect a win. Any team in the NFL in our position at 4-4, at home and on a losing streak usually gets the win, if they are a contender.

I have to believe we are a contender.

I expect a strong effort from us and if we lose it would be because Dallas played an outstanding game, but I think they are ripe for a stinker.

BREAKING: Dak broke his leg in practice yesterday and the Cowboys signed Tajh Boyd to start this week.

Man are we ever going to regret letting Tajh go now!!!

Have to go old school Steeler Defense, take the run game away first. The addition of Heyward provided this last week. Gonna be a tough task Dallas has a real QB now.

I liked what I saw from the defense last week, however we aren't playing the Ravens this week. Let's take a look at the Cowboys:

Oline - One of the best in the business and we have had a problem getting to the QB.

Elliott - Had been a beast this year and combined with a good oline and us showing to be suspect vs the run not a good combo

Dak - I remember when we use to own rookie qb's.....I feel the key here is to pressure him from the inside and contain him and not let him run. I know he has had a good year but he is still a rookie and when under pressure bad things happen. We need to bring it and contain and hope for the best. I feel this is a game for JH who can strike fear into just about anyone.

Witten - As we do the above to Dak we need to make sure this safety blanket is gone. I think we need to put a safety on him to shut him down.

I feel we can make a difference in this game with Shazier and JH on the blitz, Hargraves has to step up vs the run and maybe Davis covering Witten. Make the rookie QB try and beat us and maybe Artie can get a pick today as well........

Also not only does our offense have to play better but it has to control the clock........

They must be in control , maintain gap assignments, don't be overly aggressive and try and jump into the play. string Elliot out and force him east/west. if the young guys and some older ones too try to be the hero and break their containment assignments then it opens up cut back lanes and opportunities for Dak to run off misdirection. They must know their role today and execute.

That is the key!!! we gotta stop the run game stuff the middle and make Elliott go outside and make them beat us thru the air. Come out and create turn overs and capitalized on it. Touchdowns not field goals.

I think everyone knows how to beat dallas by stating the obvious, but doing it is another story, wearing rose collared glasses isn't going to win this game.....

That may be key, especially when the team's on a slide and players are trying -- to the point of pressing -- to make a play, provide a spark, or whatever.

I'm really not Boyd, I'm just a guy that was excited to see what he could do and was pissed when he didn't even get a chance to play a pre-season snap.

My name is Butch, from the Ligonier area, right down the road from Latrobe. I came out west 10 years ago to shoe horses at Yellowstone Park. I had a heart attack a few years later and ended up in the Black Hills of South Dakota about 6 years ago. I died on Aug. 30th of this year and was revived in the ER.

They put me in the Fort Meade VA Hospice in Sturgis S.D. on September 1st of this year because I'm not expected to live too long. I almost checked out yesterday in fact. I'm in room E-119 if you don't believe me.:smiley1:

I just come here to amuse myself and get my mind off dying. I'm a lifelong NFL fan, and a Steeler fan since around 1966. Before that I was a Browns and Baltimore Colts fan because it seemed like they were on TV the most in the early 60's, and back in those days you had to use rabbit ears antennae's with aluminum foil extenders on them, and even had to stand in different spots in the living room holding the rabbit ears to get a good picture.

They gave me about 6 months to live in September, which means Super bowl time. I was hoping to see the Steelers get #7 before I checked out, but things don't look too good.

I get some powerful drugs here, so it might seem like I'm high when I post stuff. lol.:drinks:

Jump on them early and make Dak have to throw, Ben and AB are due for a big game the Cowboys are missing 2 guys from their secondary.
