It's being reported today that Ben "could" miss 4 to 6. I say he doesn't but does anybody else find that to be a credible report?

When I first saw the reports on my phone, it was stating meniscus repairs can be a 6 week recovery but since his was more of a clean-up trim procedure, I can see 2.

Looking at the bigger picture, we need to start looking for the next permanent QB :*(

He had residual damage from other injuries this is probably why he has been so hit and miss and a lot of high balls off of 1 leg...Probably the reason he went in and out of the locker room that game ...Ben is 1 play away from being done, I know you can say that about every player , but in his case the wear and tear is becoming evident and at his age he wont keep healing like a 20 year old...

The espn article I just read, Ben said the doctor saw some damage from an injury he got in the Rams game last year, so it`s more than just a simple tear and quick recovery. Probably out 4 weeks IMO.

Yes that would explain some of the high throws.

As far as this year goes, all we need is to get Ben back and get hot at the end of the season. We won a SB before as a wildcard.

Ben has at the very least a couple of very productive years left. When we got Ben we had finished 6-10, so were just high enough in the draft to get him. I see the same happening again. We will wait until Ben is done and we have a bad year like that before we draft for a starting QB.

...and when we get there all we have to do is look at the perfect template just up the road a bit on the shores of Lake Erie to know what NOT to do when drafting a QB! Hopefully we don't become "The Town That Dreaded Sun......................days"

Right now I have the same exact injury. Same knee, same meniscus. I need surgery and was told that it would be 4 to 6 weeks before I can run again after the surgery. Everyone is different and Ben is much younger than I am, but based on my own experience, 4-6 weeks sounds right. I was surprised to hear 2-3 at first.
