Mark Madden

So went to have breakfast at Eggs R Us Monday morning in Pittsburgh, and Mark Madden was sitting at the next table. Is this guy still doing talk radio? The breakfast was top notch, by the way.

 

He still is. Some like him. Others do not.


He is good in his Hockey analysis. Other areas seem to be a toss up from what I have heard.

 

Yes he still has a show. He appears that he doesn't skip breakfast too much. He's a tad hefty.
Very loud mouth, he speaks the truth sometimes. Some people like him, some do not.

He always likes to pick on the Steelers, but he knows his hockey stuff really well.

 

Disagree. As a hockey fan I've found that madden's hockey stuff is even more off target than his football and like most shock jocks will shout at the rain in order to get listeners

This is the guy who found out about Bell being in jeopardy of getting suspended and he was correct, right?

 

I'll never forget an article written by Mark Madden after the '03 draft. "Ike Taylor: worst draft pick ever." I think it's safe to say he was wrong about that.

Man I miss that defense. I mean terribly. I mean like as bad as I miss new episodes of Ducktales. Although in 2017 Ducktales is coming back. Maybe this kind of defense will come back then too. I can't tell you how bad I'd like to see us putting the fear in a qb again.
