It's not impossible.... but Bell is already 268 yards behind the leader. Bell would have to have a couple of 150+ yard games to make up ground. I don't see Bell lighting up the Jets D like he did with the Chiefs. I hope he does... but with the current state of our O-line, I'm not holding my breath. Sad thing is... Bell would most likely be leading the league in rushing by a long shot at this point. And... the Steelers probably wouldn't have lost so badly to the Eagles if Bell was playing. Eagles still would have won, because the Steelers sucked so bad that day.

 

elliot will win the title because of that O line, but Bell is still the better back.

 

Elliot is a rookie... could miss a few games with minor injuries. Bell could take advantage.. so it's possible.
