When LeVeon comes back use both him and D Will by splitting the touches. Nobody will be able to stop the 2 headed monster.

Hardly anyone agreed with me last year so let's revisit this topic.

Use them both all game long. Why have the talent if you are not going to use it?

D Will. was in full on beast mode tonight. And we needed it. BUT, he's no spring chicken. We need him now. When Bell comes back, let him recharge. We'll need him again.

I still disagree. DWill is a good back. We have a lot of weapons and a good OL and he has thrived. LeVeon is a special talent, and needs to be on the field. A 50/50 or even 60/40 split of touches would be egregious at best and blasphemy at worst. I'm fine with packages with both of them in the game, I'm fine with DWill getting some touches to spell Bell (he's earned them)... But Bell is just a superior back in every way. I'm thankful for DWill and he could easily start for a handful of NFL teams, but Bell is the best all around back in the NFL and needs to be on the field.

I disagree. Bell is twice the weapon Dwill is. Your biggest playmakers win games. Dwill helped us tonight, but Bell helps us that much more. Dwill is better in goal line situations, but other than that, he can't come close to Bell.

I think the dual threat with them in the backfield makes all the difference even in an 80-20 scenario tilted towards pot head... Would be nice to see

Wouldn't hate the two of them in at the same time. It would be an interesting wrinkle

No comparison to bell... A few years ago ahhhhhh maybe the conversation is different, but purely from a formation standpoint it'd be brilliant

Bell can be a good WR, also blocks well

    Yea, whatever.

143 Yards, 2 TD's, 5.5 yard avg. Sit him Todd. LeVeon will crush that.

And I disagree again this year and they won't do it, thankfully.

DWill did exactly what he was brought in to do, carry the load when Bell is out.

Keep him in that roll and to give Bell a breather now and then but thats it. As Ray pointed out, he's no spring chicken, keep him fresh for when we need him. Bell has shown we need a quality backup to fill in, whether it be an injury or being a dope.

I think it will be a heavy workload for L Bell once he returns. Three reasons:

    1) Juice has serious mad talent. And with most RBs, the more you feed them, the beastlier they become. I hate RBBC.
    2) Gotta see if the man is worth paying. He was rappin' bout 15 million, but that ain't happening.
    3) Gotta see if he can duck the fragile label this year. He's had some bad luck, but the FO needs to see if his body can hold up this year and justify a new contract.

But like a prior post said...keep DWill fresh. We will need him again at some point. Even though he's 33, he still has a lot of tread on those tires since he didn't get over used with Carolina.

Your quote last year was equal carries. That's not going to happen.
I like the heck out of DWill and Bell is a huge punk, but the Steelers will give Bell the bulk of the carries.
Now you can go out on a limb and make a overzealous prediction like PWP would and maybe you get lucky?

IF Bell can stay out of trouble. I am not convinced that he can.

80/20 is more realistic. I do like dwill's inside running.

Bell needs to be on the field as much as possible, need to get max value out of Bell while he's still here. I just have a feeling he's going to get big money somewhere else.

We had 10 possession tonight. If Bell had been playing, I probably would have gone 7 for Bell and 3 for Williams. That is about the right ratio IMO.

That's what it should be, in the past it seemed that Bell got overused. We need to keep them both fresh and healthy for the long haul and playoffs. And agree there are some plays that DW does better like in inside running where you can't hesitate and have to hit the hole fast. Bell is the overall best back but we need him for the longer term.

Dwill...was an Awesome pick up. I didn't think so at the time...but I love his physicality, I love his loyalty, and what he stands for as a player and a man. He speaks his mind and doesn't back down. Very intelligent, a family man and community guy

Tomlin was trying to ruin it by keeping DWill in there along with other starters (except for Eli)
should have been preseason game 5 at the 4 minute mark 4th qtr

I'm speaking clearly from a formation standpoint folks... 2 backs option to spread one out etc... Bell will get the overwhelming majority of calls certainly, but them two in a 2 back formation is a helluva wrinkle to add with many formulas in which to choose and distribute if played right.
