    Would it send a message?

Obviously I want our best chance of winning but if we start out in the hole it would be a clear understanding that he shouldn't have "missed" a test.

If we happen to be rolling it might be a message that the team is better than being selfish.

Really, there is no doubt that he will play that 4th game but when do you as a team and ownership send the message that your behavior won't be much more tolerated?

I'm saying this mostly tongue in cheek but these guys need to understand how good they really have it and whether they want to pursue thay childhood dream for fortunes or watch it go up in a puff of smoke.

Bryant, I've almost given up on at this point. Hope he comes around but I do have my doubts.

I think Bell gets the message now, no need to miss a 4th game.

No. 3 games is enough. If he hasn't gotten the message by now, another game won't deliver it to him.

Besides, I think Bells problem with weed runs deeper then just being selfish.

Yea, he probably doesn't bogart much but there may lie the problem. If it's near Snoop Dog level then he won't be around much anyways.

They did this exact thing with Bryant last year.

And what did he learn? He'll probably waste all his god given talent away for the ganja and then in a decade wonder what exactly happened and why he can barely pay his bills.

Ummm no. We need to win games. Him being on the field helps us do that....

At this rate of the Rooneys aren't serious about keeping him long term we should squeeze every ounce of football we can out of him and let him walk. If we want him long term then we need to find other ways to keep him on the straight and narrow

Do not see how this would send a message to someone that does not really think about the consequences fully. If Bell really thought about the consequences of his actions he would not have ever gotten himself into trouble in the first place.

I am not sure Le'vean Bell has too much of a future with the Pgh Steelers. Unless he has some life changing events
I expect the Steelers to show him exactly what they did to Santonio Holmes, basically gave him away.

Bell's rap album wasn't so much a motorcycle crash as it was a train wreck.

By reducing his suspension and keeping him in the current level of the drug program, the league has basically admitted there were problems with the process. With all the other BS the league does, you guys want to punish Bell even more than the league decided to? We don't even know all the details about what happened. Let him play.

I say run him to the wheels fall off ....No need to punish the Team for his actions we can win and send a message at the same time ...Make him make up for missing those 3 games by running him 35 times each game in game 4 and game 5..70 totes divided by 5 games that seems about right to me..

This is not going to happen.

Le'Veon however, being in another uniform, is more likely to happen come 2017.

I personally with there was a way for the team to get some healthy revenge on him without really hurting the team. I just wish there was a way they could hurt his numbers or something so his value would go down on the open market. I don't know man. I'm just out for blood from these guys. I'm sick of these prima donna's just thinking they can do anything they want to do. The guy is obviously not a man. Just a spoiled brat kid whose mom probably never told him no and whose "dad" was probably nonexistent.

Why do we need revenge? How about this, Bell returns week 4, returns to form as the best RB in the league and helps us win the Superbowl. Is that not a more desirable outcome than us punishing him and hurting the success of the team as a result? No clue why people are taking this so personal. Bell is obviously immature and entitled, just like most young star players. Many of them get away with their BS, the odd one doesn't. Bell happens to be one of those people who got exposed. These guys are literally catered to and babied from the time they enter high school to when they leave college, so it's not surprising that they act the way they do.
