At this point it doesn't matter.
    It's not getting overturned now.

True I just feel that this digs the league into another hole in the sandtrap adjacent to the other ten holes they just tried to get out of.

They've definitely got some stuff they need to clean up.

So, I'm drafting 10th in my league of 10. Will he be available?

Dang, I was hoping this might keep them from drafting him

Has anyone ever figured out why Martavis didn't get 10 games considering that is the next phase after a 4 game suspension?

More than likely this is the scenario that may play out come the 2017 offseason. Unfortunate but action must be taken for the betterment of the team.

This is not Le'Veon Bell's first time either. 2015 he was suspended as well. Many of us thought Lagarette Blount was the culprit. I am now starting to wonder who pulled the strings considering Blount's lack of disciplinary results succeeding his tenure with the Steelers.

Players take steroids to jack up and heroin jr. to deal with the pain, but marijuana is a no-no. Weird that we're wasting time/money/resources testing for it, but whatever. Still dumb that anyone tests positive for it given that there are detoxers and they are given advance of the drug tests if they have not been caught previously.

There is punishment for both of those much like Marijuana . Issue is.. the imaging the NFL is making out those Marijuana. Meanwhile.. it was okay for Rodger Goodell to botch up the Ray Rice case: a case that can be still felt among female viewers.

In short: something has to change by 2020.. or else the NFL loses.

The running game should be alright for the first 3 games, if not have Ben throw it 40 times a game until Bell returns.

Best part is he stays in the same stage of the program, so his next violation will be 4 games, not 10.

I would still pick Bell #1. I will try and trade up in my fantasy draft to get him. In fantasy its ok to start slow so you can get good waiver targets.

The Steelers will draft Bell's replacement next year, or trade to a team that has a rb we like.

You're taking too much responsibility away from these athletes. Either they're addicted and they have a disease or they're simply choosing to do something they know they aren't allowed to do, because they think they can get away with it. People drink and drive all the time despite not being alcoholics. People do drugs all the time despite not being addicted. These guys aren't addicted, they are simply young and think they can get away with it. Besides, Bell didn't fail a drug test, he missed the tests. According to Bell, he doesn't smoke weed anymore.

The Incognito text messages that were all released should have been an eye opener for many. Pro athletes do drugs on a fairly regular basis. No, not all of them, but a hell of a lot. Incognito, Pouncey, Martin and others mentioned are far from the only ones snorting coke during downtime. In fact, being in the line of work I'm in has made me realize just how prevalent cocaine is among those who have money. They're not addicted, they just think they can get away with using it, as do 99% of those who use drugs.

Makes it easier to feel better about committing money to him if we want to keep him. You win with stars in this league now and Bell is a star... It would be tough to let a talent like that walk because he's young and dumb. By all accounts he's a good kid, just an idiot for getting arrested and missing some tests.

When people risk millions of dollars, yes, I think its possible that an addiction is involved. Its not the same as joe shmoe D/D.

Or, ya know, maybe these young kids are too stupid to realize the gravity of their decisions. They've gotten away with this crap since middle school... Why would they think it would start happening in the NFL? Only problem is that it will haha
