Forced as in Manson told Watson to make sure everyone there participated. Some of the wounds were post mortem doesn't mean that she killed the woman. When we're talking about one specific person and you keep derailing it by bringing up someone else to deflect it most certainly is. She denies to this very day that LSD had nothing to do with it? Oh really?

Van Houten, who was 19 at the time, has since maintained that "she was emotionally troubled and under the sway of LSD and Manson's charismatic personality," member station KPCC reported.

Yes. Really. Check out the 4:17 mark when she is asked point blank about drugs having anything to do with it. The post mortem wounds doesn't mean that she didn't kill her either. She did break in a house. She did bind the woman. She did stab the woman. She did help to hold the woman down. She did nothing to stop any of it. She knew exactly what she was doing. Here's the video of her talking about the fact that drugs had nothing to do with it. So which of her stories do you believe?

For the love of god. No one is blaming the drugs. She is responsible for her actions, but you cannot deny that they played a role in putting her in that situation. They are a direct part of Manson's manipulation over her. Can you grasp the fact that they were brainwashed into thinking starting a race war is a good idea and the drugs played a part in that?

Sounds like you're blaming the drugs. At least partially. If she's responsible for her own actions, she shouldn't be granted parole.

Just watched that clip, **** this woman and everyone involved with those killings. That poor Bianca woman, calling out to her husband like that, terrified and brutally murdered.

She and her husband are not getting another chance at life, neither should Van Houten.

I actually can deny that based on the fact that I just heard the woman admit it herself. There were lots of people on LSD in the 60's but I don't know about many people who were on LSD that done something like this. There have been lots of cults but I don't know about many of them that have done something like this. Most cults wind up killing themselves and not others in such brutal ways. She should stay in jail forever. Watson, Atkins, Kreinwinkel, and Manson should as well. Well, actually, they should have just been killed years ago. That way the taxpayers save money, the families get justice, the victims get justice, the monsters get justice, and everybody wins.

While watching the video, I couldn't help but notice how cold all three of them were. If I were in their position, I would be bawling my eyes out no matter how many times I had to retell my story. I simply wouldn't be able to live with myself.

At the end of the video, Van Houten stated, "I took away all that life," and smiled! Eff her! I hope she continues to rot in prison.

I'm with BFT on this one for a couple reasons:

    1. Regardless of WHY she committed murder... she committed murder. Someone that impressionable can't say they won't kill again when they lacked the will power to say no in the first place.

It is unlikely that this woman would find another Manson type but not impossible. Lots of sick freaks gravitate towards murderers if they are infamous. Who knows what type of man she could become involved with and again she has no will power apparently.

    2. Make a statement. This is a high profile case. You do the crime you do the time. Let it be known.

Van Houten is a monster. Plain and simple. Doesn't deserve to live and definitely doesn't deserve to ever be free among decent people.

I remember that woman. She killed her kids by putting them in a car and pushing them in to a lake. Then didn't she at first act like they were kidnapped or something?

Remember that South Park episode about obviously guilty people like the Ramsey's and OJ and they all just keep blaming their crime on "some Puerto Rican guy"? LOL!

Good. Susan Smith shouldn't be paroled either. Taking your kids life, I have less sympathy for her then Houten.
