The Ravens have personally keep us from winning the division with those two loses and the previous year, they put us out the playoffs coming into pittsburgh.

I think the worse thing that could of happened to us is barely getting beat by broncos without bell williams pouncey and brown. If manning would have picked us apart for 400yds 5 tds and a 48-20 blowout we might have played this off season different.

you are exactly correct.
3rd to worst secondary in the entire nfl and we let 2 starters walk away and replace them with their backups.
now granted, the 2 that walked away sucked, but they were able to beat out the guys that will be starting for us this year.
i didnt want the steelers to spend huge money on FA dbs, but there were a few guys out there that they could have signed for cheap and let them compete with the back ups and this years draft picks

 

Actually, that bungle win was a gift when they imploded, otherwise we would have never made it to Denver, we certainly have to play better in the playoffs if we get there this year, and hopefully we wont be plagued with injuries to key players to put us in jeopardy again....

 

We've won one playoff game (Bengals imploding) in five years. So I don't see why a lot of posters are very casual about what we've done. We've nothing to brag about in recent history.
