They can "lobby" until the cows come home. People don't want to spend their hard earned money to go to cold weather. LOL. That's why the last Super bowl was where? Santa Clara. I rest my case.

And New England is on the long list now because of their cheating was. Owners decide and the owners in this league are not happy with Kraft or Belicheat.

You'd be correct if you flipped what you said in your last post. Some New Yorkers may feel that way, not the majority. Guarantee I know a lot more of them then you do.

As with my last answer, you're close to being right, not quite there yet. There won't be many cold weather SB's, warm weather sites have the next 3 wrapped up. But there will be cold weather SB's still. Fans are going to show up no matter where the SB is, so any power they have on controlling the outcome has been lost by them. And Goodell works for the owners, so there is no need to lobby to the cows come home, they own Goodells ass.

I'm exactly right. LOL. You just can't admit it. The proof is where the next three Super Bowls are at. Unless there is a roof on a cold weather site, there won't be a super bowl there. Hahaahahaha. YOu went and looked to try and refute me and all you found out was that you were flat out wrong!! But you can't admit it. The proof is where the next three sites are. Apology accepted.

    We move on.

Foul weather is an integral part of football and the SB is no different. There will be more SBs' played outdoors in January. New York is the center of the universe and most people think so, not just New Yorkers. I think the spreading of the brand is more intended to increase marketing revenues like jersey sales and broadcast revenue rather than actual international franchises. I'm sure when the owners crunch the numbers they see potential to sell NFL liscenced products all over the world. Games in some of those big untapped markets will pump that up.

That's exactly what it is. The real end game is all of the other revenue streams that are created. They see what is happening in the NBA.

    This isn't the NBA..apples & oranges

The Super Bowl IS different. That's why the league has taken it upon themselves to set up the next three super Bowls in good weather cities. The Super Bowl is not the AFC/NFC championship game. It's the Super Bowl. Actions speak louder then words; if what you said were true, they'd have games planned in bad weather stadiums..but they don't. What more proof do you need? The New York experience was an experiment..and the word they used at the time was "experiment".

Cities with inclement weather can get roofs put on those stadiums and then host a Super Bowl. I'd love for every NFL city to be able to host a Super Bowl. Including our beloved Pittsburgh. That would be a perfect world. But places like Chicago, Minnesota (with no roof) Green Bay, can't be allowed to host a Super Bowl with the possibility of freezing tempatures, rain or snow.

People do not vaction/want to go and sit and watch a Super Bowl in zero degrees in Green Bay. LOL.

What do you know, you can't even quote the right post. I kid I kid :lolol:

Like I said, there won't be a lot of them but despite what you think, NY was a success, there will more, it was 50 degrees, nothing happened in that SB that would cause them to say, damn, weather ruined the game.

We'll see. if you stick around on this board long enough, I'll be sure to say I told you so, you just made the list :taunt:

    I wasn't talking about the Super Bowl . . . at all.

I was talking about the decision to play NFL games abroad. I was agreeing with CFL guy and adding that the NBA has become HUGE overseas and created an international revenue stream whereas the NFL, try as they might, can't seem to draw much interest outside of the US. Hardly anybody in Canada even cares about the NFL let alone London, Mexico City or China.

Not sure why you quoted my post.

If money is your God, this is what happens. Greed. We will have a revolt in this country one
day because of all the money being controlled by few??
