Steelers looked at Bowe a couple seasons ago, glad that train wreck of a signing ended up in Cleveland instead.

    So, um, NO!

Considering converting WR's to CB and S is the way the NFL is heading.
    Sign him.

He couldn't get on the field in Cleveland and they don't have any receivers, so the answer is no.

Coates will be fine it was meant to be for this kid, nobody knew about Bryant until he hit the field, the same thing will happen with Coates. No need to panic

I'm actually hoping we re-sign Cam Thomas, release Blake, and convert Cam Thomas to CB. That way we could get an upgrade at corner for a bargain. Also crap no on Bowe.

I'd have to say no on Bowe. Not interested at this point and I don't think he'd be a good addition to the team.

Haha no. He's about as desirable a pickup as Manziel would be... Dude sucks. If he could get on the field in Cleveland you can bet he won't sniff it here in the burgh

I'm also in the no camp on Bowe.
I'd love to know what happened to him, though. He was on fire his first couple years in the league, then nothing. I don't get it.

No we good----------- to many cooks in the kitchen with bryant anyway. Come playoff time we want bell and brown to handle the rock and get as many touches as possible. Mark my words, coates is gonna be a beast anyway....

No I would rather draft a WR in the mid to late rounds vs. signing a washed up vet.

Boykin did get on the field at the end of the season, Boykin will get signed by a team before Bowe does.

Yeah I just find talent evaluation in the NFL is sometimes based in arrogance like how a player was viewed by the last team, a player's size, draft stock pr their size.

For example I keep hearing how Boykin is a "slot corner only" and people will repeat that until they are blue in the face but actually Boykin is bigger than Antwon Blake and Butler even said he'd give tiny Golson a shot at outside corner. It doesn't add up but if it is said often enough it becomes law.

I didn't think Boykin was a superstar as much as I thought Blake was a bum I'm just illustrating a point.

You're kinda doing the same thing by using Boykin's size to make your argument?
Maybe his skill set kept him from being good on the outside? Maybe in the coaches eyes he couldn't grasp the playbook?
