What's new right? We already knew he would so why should that change any? Just watched Inside the NFL and he is slobbering all over himself saying that he hasn't seen so much talent on one team then the Bengals have right now and that he believe they will finally get over the hump and beat us in the playoffs. His only concern is AJ McCarron being fresh but says he's not that worried because he can keep his cool.

I, for one am so thrilled that we get to listen to this bias announcer all game long again Saturday night.

He'll probably be walking into the booth with Who Dey foam fingers and orange and black Pom Poms ready to go.

Why in the world does this guy still announce Steelers games when everyone in the world knows he hates our team?:frustrated:

Can't wait til he starts pouting in the 4th qtr when we are in the Victory formation with Landry Jones taking a knee because we are up 24.:crycry:

    Man, I can't stand that guy. :@

I don't get it. You think the Mara's would step in and tell him to tone it down.

Why would the Mara's step in? Just because one of them is married to a Rooney?

I would get used to him. Good chance he will be calling any playoff game the Steelers play in this post season.
CBS is even doing the Super Bowl this year.

Jim Nantz isn't so bad. I love when does the Masters each April, I think he does a great job.

Nantz and Simms are basically "owned" by Robert Kraft. The CBS bias has been going on ever since this travesty opened:

    CBS SPORTS SCENE

There's nothing wrong with a sports-network oriented sports bar. And there's nothing wrong with a sports bar adjecent to an NFL stadium. But when the two are combined, and that network bar is basically a Patriots bar, well...to me, that constitutes a serious problem. Nantz and Simms are regulars at the place when in town to broadcast pats games. (Why do you think those two are almost always the crew for their home games???)

I don't know.... I personally think it's awesome that Simms and Nantz are going to be covering 4 more Steelers games this year. Yay Phil and Jim!

The only announcer who ever really got to me was Joe Buck, he just irritated the heck out of me.

Luckily he doesnt do Steelers games, I dont think he does much football at all actually.

Family man. The kids have great grandparents that own the Giants on one side and Steelers on the other they cheer for both teams. Both organizations/families are obviously cool. Both teams have ran the NFL the last decade with 4 Super Bowls and 5 appearances. Think about it, Giants play in a division against the Cowboys and Eagles. Two teams Steelers fans hate. They are also the Patriots killers, another team we hate. Giants should be any Steelers fans "second team" I was joking though. I doubt they care about Simms. Can't have everybody love the Steelers, you need some haters. So many people in the NFL media with ties to the Steelers. Simms is just there to fill the quota on the other side.

Saturday night wild card games had always been NBC games.. This year, they changed it. Then again, we would have had Collinsworth calling a Bengals playoff game... So it's the lesser of the two evils.

Phil Simms can go to hell...and I mean that in the nicest way. That's a lie, no I don't.

Phil Simms and Chis Collinworthless get the mute button at my house. Can't stand either one.

Chris Collinsworth is 50> than Phil Simms.

The pencil neck geek has 15 sports Emmy awards. Phil scum has only been nominated and still hasn't been chosen.

Collinsworth is not that bad. He is not the anti-Steeler msny might think. He full on came to Ben's and Heath's defense when both took illegal hits vs Ravens and suggested that we fans were right to question officials' objectivity when it came to our team. He won my respect that night.

Didn't we used to have one that said "Guck Foodell"? I can't find it. Anyway, we need one that says the same about Simms.

Just because a announcer picks against your team, doesn't mean he hates them or doesn't like your team.

I kinda like Collinsworth -- he seems fairly even-handed.

Simms, I hope laryngitis strikes. Trent Green isn't much of a Steelers fan, either.

I have been irritated less by Simms of late than by Gumball and Green. I used to like Greg Gumbel but he seemed to get more excited the better a team playing the Steelers did. He and Dierdof used to be awesome especially when dan would talk about the Steelers forcing their will on teams.

Phil Simms ride whom ever is winning at the time ...just like every other commentator. Just make sure we are ready mentally and physically and we will win

Oh, he still does. He and Aikman are Fox's equivalent of Nance and Simms. Except Nance >>> Buck.

Aikman is about as unbiased as they come, he's fine imo.. Buck is flat out boring and acts like he is above everything. Hate him in baseball and football.

I would just once like to see Gruden not like someone. Just say he rubs him the wrong way and thats ok. Too many "I like this kid" uttered in one football game. It's like he is on permanent happy pills.
