    1. Being the sixth seed
    2. Having to go to Cincinnati in the first round
    3. Having to go through Denver as well
    4. Serious chance of playing Seattle in The Superbowl
Is it 2005 all over again?

Similarities are certainly lining up, but my gut tells me we're more likely to repeat last year's flop. Sure hope I'm wrong, but we're not entering the post season in top form. The fortunate part, outside of KC and Hou, neither are the other teams, so we'll see...

I wish we had the 2005 defense.

These next two games (assuming we get by Cincy) will be the true test of coaching ability. We've faced both opponents recently (and beaten them), so there's no excuse for not having regular season head-to-head matchup game film ready and available for game planning.

Yes, just that the offense and defense is flipped. Better offense and worse defense now.

The other deja vu moment was the possibility of going into a wild card game without your starting RB. It's going to hurt if DWill doesn't make it back.

Speaking of which. Why can't we get Willie Parker back just for one game? Just for nostalgia sake

The 2005 team was hot heading into the playoffs and had an impressive road record between 2004 and 2005.. This team, not so much.

    5. Elite defense that will only surrender 15.5 PPG in a playoff run.

    Hmm maybe not.

I am getting a sense of Deja Vu.

My hope for the playoffs in the Stairway to 7 in SB 50...

    1) Take out the Bengals to shut them the hell up.
    2) Take out the Broncos at Mile High and get that monkey off the team's back.
    3) Take out the Patriots in AFC Championship game, in Foxborough, and get that monkey off the team's back.
    4) Take out the Packers in Superbowl 50 and get payback for Superbowl 45.
    5) Never let fans of any other team ever forget it.
