Had amazing time in Pittsburgh with the grand finale being at game! Surrounded by very cool people except one mouth Denver fan to which I had to talk down guy behind me from jumping up at him! Didn't want him to get kicked out and told him he'did have the last laugh!

We went everywhere! Strip,Primante,Grandview Ave,downtown@Market Square etc. Uber ed to game, hung out at Jerome Bettis till close to game. Shared uber with guy to Squirrel Hill for amazing pizza at Mineos...could go on and on!

So much fun that I'm checking out tix for Baltimore game on ebay. Suppose to head back to Atl Sun...but hey that can wait till after game lol!

Forgot...heck of a trip getting to Pitt! Started snowing/ice in WV, had to go less then 20mph with flashers, spun out twice,pulled over and crashed at truck stop off 79 for an hour 376 was closed cuz of wrecks had to go through neighborhoodsome to bypass closures and somehow came out at heinz field! Didn't get to hotel til 4am!

Experience at Heinz field made it all worth it!!

Glad you guys had a great time. I really take a lot of great Pittsburgh things for granted since I don't live far away.
I would stop in Baltimore. Tickets will be cheap, and I was reading there should be a lot of Steelers fans there this Sunday!

 

Pissed I missed out on 30 yd line lower level pitt side for $135 ea... talked to guy...asked if I could have 30 min to get back to him...he said yes ...got caught up with full stuff but called back in 35 and he said sorry just sold them ugh!!!

Looking like we will find steeler bar on way home. 80% rain at gametime etc

 

That was tough luck seemed like really good seats at a good price ..

 

Yeah if it wasn't for DHB those seats would be double that. Lol!!!

I am 67 ya old. I grew up in Leetsdale PA and joined the Marines when I was 17, stayed in for 30 years. Why did I tell you that? I have driven in the following places, Tokyo Japan, Naha Okinawa, Bannock Thailand,
Taipei Taiwan, Manila PI, Portsmouth, Plymouth and London England, Sydney AU. and many other strange places. Never, NEVER EVER could drive in Pittsburgh. When I go home, my brother gets tickets and he drives me everywhere in Pittsburgh, so don't feel bad about driving there. Last time we did breakfast at Kelly-o's I think it was. Right off the strip. That place was on Diners Dives and what ever they call that show

 

What were your kids expression when they realized they were going to see the greatest team on the planet? (priceless) Glad you had a great time in our fair city, come back again. I told you driving is crazy LOL. How did you like the sights from MT Washington? I use to live in PT. Breeze section of Pgh, and Mineos was always a good choice

 

I'm corny and printed up "Congrats you've been given a trip to..."and had pics of their tix etc after they both wondered why we were going through a tunnel in Wv. They gave me a loud yes !!!
