Look, I'm all for the proper aesthetics of sports teams. Pinstripes on the Yankees, plain gold helmets for Notre Dame etc... But is this all that is left to stir some sense of excitement in Baltimore???

Exec 2: That'll get conversation started for sure!
Ravens President: Whatever, go take it up with the equipment manager.

Since when do any good teams ever go and tinker with their uniforms when things are going great? NONE OF THEM!

That's why Cleveland rolled out those monstrosities this year and Baltimore is bring back gold pants like they're MC Hammer

 

I don't care what they wear, i'm worried about them taking this challenge lightly. Oh that's right, they never lose to inferior teams

 

If we're on the topic of uniforms then we don't have much wiggle room with the rest of the league when we play in our Bumble Bees.

Things are rough in Baltimore. They don't have any playmakers, they don't have a secondary, the heart and soul of their team (thuggs and Smith sr.) are basically done, and they pay a mediocre QB top dollar. If they don't start hitting some home runs in the draft, it will be a while before they see another winning record.

Flacco IS mediocre in the regular season but turns legendary in the postseason. He is the AFC Eli Manning. Imagine him as our backup? lol plus he seems like a cool dude too

At least that one post season where he won it all he was incredible. I'll give him credit tho, he's a gamer. He does well in big games.

Eli is better than Flacco tho... Manning has more talent and puts up bigger numbers, Flacco just isn't as careless with the rock as Eli is. Both guys play better in the post season tho. That's a good trait to have.

 

The Steelers are likely looking at the playoffs and the Ravens are playing dress-up! I like it!

 

Funny how last spring and the spring before, there were a lot of posts on how superior they were in evaluating talent over the Steelers.

 

I just went trolling on the Ravens message board. There are some unhappy campers over there. Kind of made my Christmas brighter.

Yep. It's a tough league to stay on top all the time. Guys start leaving for more money, so you better have drafted well enough that your young guys can come in and be as good or better than the guys leaving.

 

The thing about the ugly pants that confuses me is that other teams change jerseys in order to sell jerseys. Who is buying pants?
