They have been giving up passing yards all season, but the defense has been able to come up with turnovers.

Wasn't Jones like 3/4 passing when he went out?

They were playing Cleveland the 26th ranked offense. I'll take that for what it's worth. They are getting better but they have a long way to go before I consider them a top notch defense .

I hate to say it but they may want to copy BA's gameplan from last night when they go to Seattle.

I don't think that will be the case especially with the Bengals leaving the door slightly ajar. Bengals could very well lose to the Cardinals and that will prop the door a little bit more open. I think they will be very focused if that should happen.

If I was Tomlin I would take them out west a few days earlier. Let them get used to the time change etc.

Yep and they were close to intermediate range and the D was getting closer and closer to making a play ...The Browns Defense was prepared to play tight and shut down the run and hit the quick catch...Jones just doesn't have the vision or the pre snap judgment that Ben does ...He doesn't have the arm to drop in those Deep Balls ....

It would have been a much different game had Ben not came in....

Hey TTF - love the countdown meter to the bye. Is it an early game bye or late game bye? :lolol:

Turn down the vol. on the one eyed monster, open Steelers.com click on Steeler radio, Listen to Hillgrove Tunch and Wolfley. Been doing it for years, screw them boring bias wannabe broadcasters.

And thats in sync with the TV? No delay? I wouldn't have thought so. Much better to listen to them.

Yeah usually there's a delay I would assume. I can say though that when I was a kid and John Ward was the "Voice of the Vols" my dad would constantly listen to him call the games even when they were on tv. He is sorta like a Myron Cope figure in east TN because people loved listening to him call UT games for years and years.

unless they are playing the bye in London and I face my satellite west, then it comes on the next day - quite early. It was bad enough syncing the DVR last week when they switched games locally on CBS and I fortunately was watching live and manually switched to the Direct TV channel. This week, I don't know what to do because I can't find the bye game on the Direct TV guide. Hope TTF can find a feed for us.

My experience with delay is approx. 3-5 sec. Well worth it to me, I like when Tunch breaks down the plays along with the Wolf tossing information to the booth from the sideline. Good stuff

The Steelers are 6-2 after the Bye week under Mike Tomlin. Not too shabby.

I don't know if we want to use his defensive game plan since they gave up 32 points and his offense barely hung on with seconds on the clock to win by 7.........

All we need to do is move AB around a bunch and throw where Sherman is not ...Not a great ideal to test him over and over... I think the Trip set should spread them thin and use AB in motion to let Ben see the coverage ...

But they moved the ball on offense.

Not cosistantly, remember they had a 19 point lead and their offense didnt move the ball for a couple of quarters mainly because the hawks blitzed palmer and he turned the ball over twice deep inside their twenty, the hawks took the lead in the 4th quarter and it was nip and tuck with the game in question untill their was 58 seconds left on the clock, I dont want us to end up behind in the 4th quarter like the cards, and our Oline is going to have to keep ben clean and I worry about that for this game...
