Yep. I was texting Tomlin about this the other night. I knew it was coming.

 

Perhaps now we can but Jones back on punt returns and I dont have to hold my breath EVERY time AB fields a punt. PLEASE!!

 

I think Jones has like six punt returns this year for -5 yards. I think this may have been a factor in his release from the Chargers, but I don't know for sure. I think we will continue to see AB on punts.

Jones has been used as a punt return man his whole career. I don care if he fair catches every punt. Just get AB out of there!!

So we sign a guy with a 21.4 KOR avg and release a guy with a 25.3 KOR avg. This new guy has been a punt return guy his whole career and we are only going to use him as a kick returner? When he is not as good as the guy we released to sign him as a kick returner.....

I agree with you Blast this move makes little sense!!! But if it gets AB off the PR team Im all for it.

 

Jones hasn't done much lately, hope I'm wrong and he can still play.

 

Picking up Jacoby Jones is deffiently very good for us. I know he's a return specialist, but besides that do you think he will be utilized to his full ability and become a slot receiver backup??

 

I know the man is one of the fastest players in the NFL so why not use to his fullest ability? He's going to help very much in returns now.
