This game scares me

I'm torn, normally I would say Landry should play since he is the only one healhty, but Ben usually comes back rusty and needs 1 game under his belt.

I don't think I would want him to be rusty against the Bengals. We need the win against the Bengals more unless we are just going to already concede the division to them?

 

The Steelers are 2 point favorites. That seems about right. Think I'll play.

 

Kelce isnt that great, he has two TDs in six games and he got those two TDs in week one and nothing since, a scoring machine he isn't.....He will be targeted more if Maclin is still out with a concussion, but if he is all they got to catch the ball then it shouldn't be too hard to defend this slow plodder....

 

Kelce is a great TE, he simply has one of the worst QB's in football throwing him the ball. I can't believe Alex Smith still has a job. The guy is scared to throw the ball down the field. He's terrible

 

I got a bad feeling too. KC is desperate for a win and they are home. The fans there are also desperate and this may be the highest decibel game of the year played there.

Then again, we have won this year when defeat seemed certain.

I`m expecting a close game. I hope the defense bails us out if it is close.

 

Things to be scared of:
1. Chiefs have 5 losses, but three of them are to undefeated teams (Packers, Bengals, Broncos) and two of those games were on the road and two games were close, they also lost to the Vikings who are undefeated at home
2. Team has a great pass rush going up against a QB starting his first game
3. Maclin will play, Kelce is a good TE, TEs give the Steelers' defense problems - KC has moved the ball fairly well
4. KC plays the run well - so being able to lean on Bell may be a problem
5. Landry played great last week, but often times it is very hard for a backup QB to replicate that performance - he may turn back into a pumpkin

Things not be scared of:
1. Chiefs turn the ball over a lot, the Steelers have been generating a lot of turnovers
2. The Chiefs may miss Jamaal Charles more than the Steelers miss Bell
3. The Chiefs give up lots of explosive plays (over 20 yards) - the Steelers are a team that can generate lots of explosive plays
4. Chiefs O Line is a mess - this could be a week where the Steeler OLB do very well

 

Without Vick they are already smarter...

 

If preparation meant that much in the games previous Vick should have lost every damn game. I really do not believe you can prepare for LJ . No tape on him as you pointed out and our offense should be far more potent with a QB which delivers the ball..

First of all Landry is going to shock the world. I expect several single game records will fall. Ben will make a great back up. font verde

 

This game doesnt scare me one bit. Not if Haley uses Bell and Williams as he should. RUN THE BALL. Dont put this on Jones shoulders.Run the ball and let the D win this game. KCs offense is not that good without Charles.
