Chiefs are 1-5. We lost to a winless Raisins team. Ben might be back... if he plays will they murder him? Blah. Lets win and stay healthy.

The Steelers worry me no matter who they play. On paper they should beat these guys.
Kelce is a tough guy to stop and we struggle against good TE's. Having Shazier play will be
a big help in that department.

This team has a bad habit of losing to teams that they should run off of the field, I worry more about them when they are playing an awful team than when they are playing a really good team.

They will be desperate after losing 5 games in a row, alex smith only has 6 TDs , their defense is ranked at number 20, their best player on offense charles is out, it has all the obvious makings to predict a win, but we know better than that, we need to play our best to win this game, anything less than that and we will lose it:

What happened to the Chiefs' defense? K.C. has allowed 31.3 PPG this season, tied for worst in the NFL. Last season, it allowed 17.6 PPG, ranking second in the NFL.

Yes, I guess he was wearing an old school neck roll in practice and might wear it in the game to help with his shoulder.

Me, too, but I think they can do this! This team is on a mission until Ben comes back, so I think we'll be okay. :)

This game worries me too the Chiefs are desperate for a win on a five game losing streak, Arrowhead stadium is a tough place to play. Landry Jones making his first start he will have to deal with the crowd noise, and they had a week to get ready for Landry.

Any time we play a last place team I think there's a good chance we'll lose. Tomlin loves to bring his "F" game against the worst opponents. I'd love to hear what his winning % is against last place teams or teams with 1 or few wins. It's gotta be ugly.

I think it will be really interesting to see how we handle a game that we should clearly win. I think I see something different in this year's team, particularly on defense. This edition of the Steelers may reverse the recent trend and actually put away teams that we should put away. Our defense could possibly pitch a shutout with what KC brings to the table offensively. Of course, if we follow the trend from recent years, KC could score 30 and make us look silly. I think it will be closer to the former.

Here's why I'm not as concerned as I normally am when we play a crappy team. I think Landry is REALLY gonna wanna prove himself. I know if I were a guy that had basically been snubbed for a scrub that I would honestly wanna do all I could to show my coaches how wrong they had been. I would want to try and move myself up to number 2 on the depth chart. I could see Landry really wanting to do that and preparing well for the game and coming out ready to get it done. My only fear is that he doesn't come out and try to do TOO much. I think if he sticks to the game plan we will come away wit a win just based almost on his desire alone.

Any team that has a good tight end scares me, and the Chiefs have a pretty good one.

Landry certainly will be playing to be the number 2 next year as well as this year moving forward. I do think however, that it wasn't the coaches labeling him a scrub... It was the fans. The coaches have believed in him all along, otherwise he would have been cut.

I think the kid does it. Obviously I'd prefer that Ben was healthy enough to play... but if Landry has a chance to show that last week wasn't a fluke, I think he is able to get it done. There's a big difference between playing with AB, Marty, Bell, and a solid OL, than playing with the scrub heap he was stuck with in previous pre seasons.

As long as our D plays as well as they have so far we should walk away with a win. Landry should be fine and hopefully our O-Line opens up the run better.

    I'm not worried about K.C.

I agree 100% .. I was just talking with a fan about this. I do not see this team like the other years. Seems they have a different spark and spirit then in the past. Also KC will be a sea of Steeler fans.

    We win this :)

The Chiefs are taking a nose dive and I know fans of theirs that hope they do so they can get a top pick QB. Alex Smith is showing his true colors. A game manager, not a game changer. Their Defense although stocked with talent is struggling.

Their Offense is no match with our resurging Defense.

Landry can make enough plays as we saw against Arizona who's defense is not all that bad.

Rack this game as Ben comes back next week...

I think Landry is smarter than that. He kept his wits about him after being thrust into his first NFL action and did very well. Despite what PWP has asserted, Arizona is a good football team and didnt suddenly forget how to play a pocket passer after doing so much of the year. I agree that KC having a week to prepare for him can lead to some bumpy play by Landry but at the same time, Landry is getting a week to prepare for KC, and with the 1's this time, not 2nd and 3rd stringers.

I think the kid will do fine and our defense should be able to shut down a KC offense whos only weapon is a TE. And lets face it, Kelce is no Gronk, hes not even Gates.

I concur with Elvis' post above, Steelers will handle their business.

Landry is going to be in tough this coming Sunday. Unlike last week, the defence will have actually prepared for Landry. Not that there's much tape on him, because there isn't, but some preparation is still better than none, which is what happened last week.

That pass rush is tough too. Landry is going to have to play smart. Use Bell as a dump off early and often to slow down the rush. Run some draw plays and screens. We can beat this team, but we have to play smart
