    Hypothetical, fun (or not) question:

If we could get back the draft picks we've already wasted in trading for Boykin and Scobee, how high of a draft pick would you be willing to give up to trade for Justin Tucker? We know he doesn't have issues with the conditions at Heinz Field and the 52 yarder he made Thursday would have been good from 65.

No way is hairball going to trade tucker to any team, especially to one in his Division...

That's why it's called a "hypothetical" question, Diamond, lol. ;)

Hypothetically, I'm sure that Hairball would love to trade for Big Ben right now too. Injured or not. It simply ain't going to happen. Tucker is one of the best at his position and for them to trade him would be incredibly stupid to say the least. Espcially to the Steelers.

Sorry, have to agree with Diamond on this one.

It's a good hypothetical question, if it's more of a "how high a draft pick would you trade for a known, excellent kicker." Think Janikowski in his prime. Would you go to a 3rd? Given how much our offense, despite all of its weapons, relies on FGs?

Right now, I'd probably try a 4th on someone. I don't think there are any kickers good enough around for anything higher, including Tucker.

Hypothetically, I'd go for 2 after every TD or go for it on every 4th down in FG range before I give a up a 3rd round pick for a current kicker in the NFL. There is no one really out that there that would be automatic in Heinz Field. It really makes you appreciate what the kicking Canuck actually meant to this team. With Suisham, this team is 3-1 right now and not too worried about how soon Big Ben can get back onto the field.

I'm so upset we gave up those draft picks. It was an overreaction by Colbert.

How many draft picks have spent on CB's the last few years only to cut them? Boykin may still provide some value for us.

Thank you for your participation, Thigpen. And that's pretty much what I was driving at.
