Is our defense as bad as we say?

WithOUT Shazier too! Who has me a little scared because he was wearing his shoulder in that sling.

Tuitt is going to be a beast. Im a Notre Dame fan so I loved that pick, favorite pick of that draft actually.

Don't know how many snaps Boykin was in for, maybe he is still nursing the groin pull.

I don't want to know how one would go about doing that. LOL. I just hope you're right. Maybe that would explain why they put him in when he can play tight coverage? Like goal line plays? Although it wouldn't explain his ST play though.

Loving Tuitt as well.. If only we can find ourselves a stud NT.. Or groom one (McCullers), the Dline would be one of the very best in the league.

I saw both Boykin (in the slot) and Cockrell (outside) get snaps on defense today.

Our defense is good enough to look good against the bad offenses out there, and also good enough to give our offense a chance to win it against the better offenses out there (Cheats, Cardinals, Packers, etc). Might cause some of us to claim that our DB's are the worst of all time, but really our defense as a whole isn't as bad as it's made out to be, and neither are our DB's.

They played a solid game, and looked good to me overall, and they only allowed 6 points, any time a defense can hold any NFL offense to 6 points they did a yeoman's job.....

You know, perhaps the front office is going about this all wrong. It's pretty obvious that they can't seem to really hit on any DBs, no matter how many they take. Instead of wasting multiple picks on DBs, why not make all of those picks WRs instead. That's something the certainly know how to do. And then they can trade those WRs they pick for DBs instead.

Yeah, playing at Cheatriots and holding them to 28, with communication issues, after what the Cheats just did to the Jaguars, not as bad as I thought they were, but much better with Shazier.

funny thing is.... we are ranked 6th in points allowed, 14th in yards allowed in defense. Yes the opponents sucked, but hey Pats blew out the bills and the of course the jags. Points are points and we keep improving each week. Ben going down will stall this offense a lot, but if we can manage a couple of wins with Vick and our defense is playing above subpar. This formula with a capable offense is a championship formula imo.

Somewhere on here I said this D would get better as the year goes on. I stick by that
