Now that LeVeon's suspension is up, Todd Haley needs use these two guys complimentary to each other and give both of them opportunities. I would like to see both of them see equal amounts of carries going forward. This offense will be very hard to beat if we use all of the weapons.

We're you thinking of Dante Hall? Wonder what he's doing these days, we could use a good PR so we don't have to risk AB.

Totally disagree. I used to like the RB by committee idea but it doesn't work. Granted the backs they had last time they tried couldn't wipe Bells and Williams tush, but I still dont like it. Bell needs to be on the field as much as possible, hes a total weapon. Wiliams has filled in nicely and should be used as a breather for Bell.

Ive also noticed that backs need to get into a rhythm and they can't do that splitting carries.

Yea, I meant Williams and yes he does deserve a share of the RB duties.

Well, we have our first good mojo post of the season! ;) DeAngelo Hall. :D

So shall be be named. Hehe

Seriously though, I disagree. He's older and we need him fresh at a moment's notice. Give him enough touches to keep him mentally sharp. But hold him in reserve otherwise for when we really need him.

I just hope Williams don't cause problems in the locker room, if he feels like he is not getting his share of carries

He should know his role, he is backing up one of the best RB's in the game. At the same time the Steelers need to be smart and keep Bell fresh by late the season, so it's kind of important that Williams gets some playing time

going into last season I'm sure Blount expected split duty throughout the entire season with a rookie, but Bell was a beast thus plans changed.

Blount is, and always was, a punk. Everything I've read of DWiLL indicates he's a great teammate and a solid addition to the locker room.

Williams has been a good teammate throughout his career while Blount has not. I don't see Williams stomping his feet and holding his breath like Blount did. And I'm sure Williams is well aware of that whole situation so why would he come here if he was going to be a jerk like Blount when he knows he won't be getting significant snaps.

Agree, what I was trying to say before was just because it didn't work out with Blount doesn't mean Williams becomes Blount part II. That is just the optimistic view of mine. It's a different situation

Me be thinking there is a decisive difference between being a back up being a bench warmer. Nothing wrong with giving Bell a breather from time to time and keeping him fresh. Nothing wrong with having a back up who is ready to play. Last season proved the approach we took last season was wrong. Blount being an idiot was just the icing on the cake.

If you heard DeAngelo's comments on DVE post game show your worry would be completely erased. The reporters were asking DeAngelo how he thought he performed today and if he would was excited about the team moving forward. Know what his response was? I'm paraphrasing because I can't remember word for word how he said it, but it was basically his response was, "You know what I'm excited about? LeVeon Bell coming back and giving me a break. I know how talented that guy is and I can't wait to watch him work. I know he's the man and I'm not worried about my role and I will do whatever they ask me to do"

Guy came off as a totally selfless team player. Made me like him even more.

Wing formation the both of them in the back field with and Johnson leading the way at FB, 2 WR's stretching the field. There will be lots of guessing on the opposing teams defense and a lot of open field to cover. Ben could hand it to either RB, the Fullback or pass to the AB, DHB of his choosing.

    Equal carries? Worst idea ever.
Bell is a playmaker. Williams is a quality back don't get me wrong, but no way he deserves equal carries. Maybe 20%

A 100 yard a game rusher earned more than 20% of the snaps. I'm not trying to start a RB controversy but it is what it is. I'd give him the ball 15 times a game, 12 minimum.

They may ease Bell back in the next game, but beyond that there won't be equal carries and you know it.
You want equal targets for DHB and Bryant too?
