With non contract offer, have we lost KB to FA? I like him
and really thought we would try to retain his services.

They will have a lot more money to spend next year and the franchise tag is always an option. My guess is either way he will be a Steeler next year.

Maybe, but the good news is that we have Marcus Gilbert wrapped up for 4 more years.

Also Mike Adams should be cheap to re-sign.

I think Gilbert has improved tremendously. I'm glad we wrapped him up. Hopefully, we'll be able to retain Beachum as well.

After the game Thursday I don't see how anyone can put down anybody on the oline. For me they were the biggest bright spot. Gilbert had a good game

Gilbert is getting better, but he's a right tackle only. Zero left tackle potential whatsoever. I also think that he is the 4th best lineman on our roster. If we can somehow fit everyone under the cap, great. If Gilbert's contact makes it impossible to keep Beachum and/or DeCastro long-term, then it would be a shame. So, I'm not so much putting Gilbert down as I am the front office's decision to prioritize the re-signing of a decent right tackle.

    Didn't Beachum have three penalties?

They will find a way to keep Beachum. Transition, Franchise, or restructuring some others. AV has made great strides but I don't know if they are ready to plug him in just yet. AV and Beachum are both 26 as a side note.

Probably but u need to go back and watch if that's all u base it on. He was opening some big holes and sealed off the edge alot so Williams could bounce it outside. Penalties aren't the whole atory

    Hey,
I love Beachum, but he had some penalties that cost us. He did have some very good blocking too.
