How, when, why did this happen?????

I am assuming he got busted for some sort of banned PED. But why was he tested? Because there's been a stink about him "bulking up" this off-season? And who, then, planted an idea in the league's ear to have him tested?

If he did the drug then it is his fault not any one else's. He was doing fine. Why take anything without the coaches knowing ( supplement coach)

Sorry he did it and got caught.

This is why he dropped in the draft to begin with.

On the positive side maybe we can sign him cheaper as another suspension would be 8 games and might scare teams away

 

Had to have already failed one in the last 3 months for a 4 Game suspension . So he knew another 1 was coming and he kept doing whatever he was doing. I know he has showed a lot of promise , but as a 4th. rounder he is on the verge of getting cut . I hope the Team gives him 1 last chance , but if he gives anyone on the staff any lip he is a goner..

Speaking of banned substance list, a bit of caution Sir - a few of your words are on the PC banned word list (at least here in Cali).

Regardless - the Steelers excel when they are underdogs facing adversity. Whoa - can't use d_gs either now.

 

Reason I ask is that I saw the list and Sudafed is on the list of banned substances, as I recall it's still sold in pharmacies but over the counter.... I think.

This isn't a PED-related issue. Substance abuse means drugs, probably weed. Either way, a major loss for us. Hopefully he learns his lesson and is back on the field ready to go in week 5.

Google the list of banned substances for NFL players. In the past there were items that GNC carried that were banned, so I assume some still apply.

 

I hope MB can get this issue behind him, I like the kid as a player. I want to see more of Murphy on the field to.
