You need that dark cloud in your sig like Contract!! :lolol:

He may give us a few good games to start the year. Plenty he can teach Bell too, since Bell really hasn't had a veteran mentor. At least one that doesn't mentor on the merits of sticky icky.

I agree and understand the arguement. Just not as happy at the possibility of buying a fragile package. I'm open to being pleasantly surprised though. As far as Will J goes though, the dude can and should be given more work and this constant ever evolving role he's supposed to get that we all read about every offseason I s just frustrating when it don't materialize. Maybe he isn't what we've thought or been told he is but we'll never know if he isn't given the opps.

I haven't understood the lack of use of Will J either, maybe it's talent, maybe Haley doesn't know how to fit him into his system or maybe its just the old adage that full backs are a dying breed.

Yeah who knows, I for one believe in the utilized fullback position, especially a hybrid type like I believe he is... He's already shown he can do the dirty work... Throw him a bone with that supposed high talent level he has you know?

Williams has some history with some of the staff being from Memphis. fitchner rewrote the Memphis record books with Williams there.

I'm baffled by it too, I remember Will last year blocking for Blount as a lead full back was working really well at times last year. And to be honest I would have started him at Running Back against the Ravens rather than playing a rookie and a guy off the street.

I think Will is a good passing option too, my guess is maybe he has good hands, but not consistent enough to warrant getting a lot pass attempts???

    I hope Deangelo signs though!!!!!

he does have good hands. he was a WR in college and then turned into a TE because he had some size and WVU had a need. mostly a pass catching TE to boot. the blocking part came after, so he knows pass routes and has the ability to get open with his WR skills. a very underused asset. he could be a great decoy as a lead blocker in a play action scenario and head down the seam virtually unnoticed. I'd definitely match him up with a LB in coverage and win most of those. especially with how much we use bell in the passing game. that's where most of the focus is, not on willj.. that would just give defenses one more thing to have to cover.
