Excellent! I was hoping they would sign him. Good insurance and a cap friendly deal.

Adds stability at the position. We still need to upgrade, but don't have to reach in the draft.

Wow, team-friendly. If he starts he'll outplay that contract, but I guess it's about right for both sides if he plays the same role he did last year.

Good to have a guy like that as an insurance policy.

Hope he doesn't have to start though.

Good news. Put Moats at ROLB, move Jarvis over to LOLB, and if possible draft one of the top 5 edge rushers to compete with Moats.

Good news for sure. Now with McPhee and B. Graham both signed and taking away some top FAs at OLB, we needed to get this guy signed.

My thoughts, exactly. Good for stability, but we need better for a starting OLB in a 3-4. If we ended up platooning Harrison and Moats for this year, that would probably work out for now. but Jones better have a breakout year, or we are still gonna be weak on D.

Don't think Jarvis Jones can set the edge on the run like Moats can if you move him.

*EDIT* I do think he'd be better pass rushing from that side though.

I like Moats, I think he was underutilized last year with Harrison coming back.

I think Jarvis is better than he gets credit for at everything except rushing the passer. Getting a better pass rush out of him would be my priority.

Glad to see this! I think they had to get it done before FA started. I think he can be even better this year.

Now all the attention goes to Worilds or another FA.

Agree, they had to do this. I thought he outplayed Worilds last year with 1/2 the playing time. Right now he is our best OLB on the team. Would not be surprised if he starts next year.
