Pierre over bush or McFadden period. This is the second time I'm disagreeing with you in under 5 minutes rule.... Dont take it the wrong way and please know I'm not attacking by any means. Bush is not good for us, nor is McFadden. Neither are short in the tooth conversely as well

I'd take Thomas over Bush or McFadden for our needs. I honestly don't think I've ever even seen Bush or McFadden block a blitzing LB, plus Thomas can get tough yards after contact.

The rumor is a possible 4 game since he was charged with DUI. Of course they can't pry the Liar out of his bunker while having cocktails with his BFF Craft to make a determination. Rumor has it the NFL lost the balls so deflategate cannot be proven. Guess when the new league year starts Jackass Goodell will rise from his bunker and serve the punishment for Bell. My money is on a 4 game.

I wouldn't be surprised if Bell gets it based on the fact of how bad the league looked this year with all the off the field stuff like Rice and AP. Also the Hernandez trial is not doing them any favors either. Goodell did reduce Ben's suspension though so maybe he will do the same for Bell. I'm fine with it either way honestly. I love Bell but he committed a very dangerous crime that could have endangered the life of innocent people and he should be punished accordingly and his status as a star shouldn't help him a lick in my opinion.

I mentioned this in the bell thread. it states dui (for alcohol) is a 2 game suspension. dui with a banned substance (pot) can be a 4 game suspension. if I'm not mistaken, after the suspension for a banned substance, if he's caught again it could be a years suspension. correct me if I'm wrong on this one anyone.

That's probably right because isn't that what happened to Josh Gordon?

How do you know Bush or McFadden wouldn't be good for the Steelers? They both are speedy RBs who are good receivers, the Saints barely used Thomas last season he's probably washed up.

Yep you're right probably washed up. Hey BTW how did that whole Harrison is washed up and done thing turn out for you? Bush hardly turned in sterling 2014 season and he was on a pass first team that had guys that stretch the field leaving underneath routes open for him and he still couldn't keep his starting job and as far as McFadden goes huge potential that was misused by the Raiders for his entire career he has more than likely been used harder than Thomas at this point and would be the bigger risk.

McFadden is a chandalier, bush is a punt returner. Neither are worth the risk. Thomas is a safe bet IMO. Hard runner, under used, and seemingly good all around ethic.

    Thomas; 818 rushing att. 327 rec. 38 starts 6 fumbles 8 years

    bush: 1266 rushing att. 466 rec. 99 starts 32 fumbles 9 years

    McFadden: 1038 rushing att. 211 rec. 63 starts 17 fumbles 7 years

Thomas has less touches and less fumbles = less wear and tear. that doesn't even touch college wear and tear.

2 games should suffice. When you look at how short the season is, 4 games is a big chunk.

I mean he incurred some sort of punishment from the law too, didn't he?

Duh, Bush was injured in 2014 that's why he wasn't used in 2014. I would still take him over Thomas anyday. So what the Steelers thought Harrison was washed up also, that's why they didn't sign him until they were desperate. It works both ways you guys were ripping Moats for being a scrub and not doing anything in Buffalo, and as I predicted he could be a solid backup.

Yea, because we all know it's more dangerous to drive while on weed than it is on booze.

At the current up and down dismissal rate we have no idea what's pliable anymore. 2 games would be sufficient, but I'd like to see dick head Blount get 2 or more as well. It won't happen of course, but with how things have been handled lately or dismissed lately, who knows? The fan in me says Goodell hammers em hard, but it wouldn't hurt my feelings to let things be either and allow for in house punishment.

Bell wont get a fair shake... We know this. My only hope is he sees his probation through and don't turn into the next rock headed athlete ala Gordon.

And lastly, stop the RB comparisons already, Thomas is a superior signing over McFadden or bush... Is what it is.

While its illegal to drive while drunk, booze itself isn't illegal, pot is.

Not appropriately and not for long. Have you ever heard just because something is illegal, or not, doesn't tell the full story. It was illegal to have oral sex in most states at one time. Did that make it appropriate? Weed isn't illegal in CO, so is it OK to use there? Yes it is. It is 100% retarded that booze is legal and weed is not. Booze is 100,000 x more dangerous on so many levels. Weed's biggest problem is it makes people lazy, maybe. And it has 100's of healthy properties.

I myself do not partake, but personally believe it is less dangerous than alcohol. And with some states legalizing, who knows if it will end up 2 or 4 games, could go either way being Bells first offense.

I don't want any ahole behind the wheel while on either. And you were wondering why he may get 4 games so I told you, pots illegal, there ya go, whether you agree or not, thats the reason.

The Steelers could use help on special teams and backup RB both of which Bush can do. FWIW Ed Bouchette of the Post Gazette said he thought Bush would be a good fit for the Steelers.
